Hellooooooo!

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 21/04/2010 08:52

It's taken me 43 years to realise what a crap system we have

ghostofoggs · 21/04/2010 13:30

Hello?

Berrie · 21/04/2010 15:56

Hello my dear!

So will you vote?
I enjoyed the debate.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 21/04/2010 21:01

Oh, I'll definately vote. I just wish my vote acctually counted for something
More thought needed I think.

LyraSilvertongue · 21/04/2010 22:05

Who does he think will win? Tories probably.
Oggs, it's the same in my area. Two-horse race. The party I want hasn't got a chance in my constituency. So who to vote for? It's a tough one.

Berrie · 22/04/2010 07:50

Morning.

Last acupuncture today - hooray!
Bloody noisy here last night now the planes are flying. The peace was lovely.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 22/04/2010 08:45

Morning! Another beautiful freezing day!

ghostofoggs · 22/04/2010 08:49

Good luck with the acupuncture! That's a short course isn't it?

Hardly any difference at all here with the no flying, but I can sympathise. We used to live under the flight path of Manchester Airport many, many, many moons ago.

Most of the flyovers we get here are helicoptors/RAF/light aircraft.

Berrie · 22/04/2010 09:17

We get those too!

OP posts:
Berrie · 22/04/2010 09:18

I think it might have been longer if it had showed signs of working.

OP posts:
Berrie · 22/04/2010 13:25

Oh bugger..not the last one after all!

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 22/04/2010 20:04

How did it go?

Berrie · 23/04/2010 07:35

Same as usual. She stuck pins in me. Some of them I can't feel and some of them really hurt. Then she twiddles the bastards every 5 minutes.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 23/04/2010 14:13

Ouch!

Having probs with sodding computer again. Have spent last couple of days on phone to ip trying to sort out why we have such a poor service.
After many diagnostic tests it 'looks dodgy'. Impression is that I may have corrupt files/virus .

Berrie · 23/04/2010 16:34

Oh dear. That does not sound good.

I am on high alert. My brother and family are calling in tomorrow. Much cleaning to do!

OP posts:
Berrie · 23/04/2010 16:38

Must not get caught out on microwave again when baby's food needs doing...

Bits of fridge that show - tick

LyraSilvertongue · 23/04/2010 17:12

Can you get PC World or somewhere similar to clean it up Oggs?
How old is the baby Berrie?
It's been gloriously sunny here today so we're off to the riverside pub for a drink/food with the boys.
Got a friend's 40th birthday party tomorrow night. Much drinking of wine this weekend

Berrie · 23/04/2010 19:06

Just one years old.
Everyone is having blimmin' babies at the mo. A neighbour came round with some spare seeds and she has 4 weeks to go. I'd not even noticed she was pregnant. My other brother rang to say they were expecting their second and the lesbians next door also told us they are pregnant too. Worryingly, the neighbours reckoned they were 10 weeks and due in November. My brother had had a scan and was 12 weeks, due mid October.I don't really see how the neighbours can be in a great deal of doubt as to the date of conception? Something is not right. Pre-school is full of new borns. The physio asked pre-acupuncture if I was planning a pregnancy. I told her I couldn't could I because of my back. She said I could if I lost 3 stone. It would be far easier to lose 3 stone than get DH to agree anyway!
So.

LyraSilvertongue · 23/04/2010 21:49

So no more babies? I think I missed the boat too. If it was going to happen, it should have happened about two years ago at least.
Very few newborns around us. DS2's class is mostly made up of younger siblings and none of the mums in DS1's class have very little ones. Only two friends have had babies in the last year. They're exceptionally cute.
Are you trying to lose the three stone? Oggs, how's your weight loss/healthy lifestyle plan going?

Berrie · 24/04/2010 07:27

Nah. None of my clothes would fit and I'd have a miserable no eating life and then put it all back on again anyway by which time I'd have thrown away all my fat clothes.
Can't be arsed.

Berrie · 25/04/2010 20:03

Hello?

How was your weekend?
My back is crap today. That's it.
Bye.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 25/04/2010 21:39

Oh dear (passes Berrie some Tiger Balm)

Average weekend. Nothing momentous.
Downloading Doctor Who, so will be watching it tomorrow.

Lyra, you must have watched the Dalek one by now?

Berrie · 26/04/2010 11:09

Oh dear, my lovely friend collapsed on the London Marathon yesterday and had to be revived by the ambulance people.

That's why I never take part.

Did you see the Dr Who episode? He was better looking again this time, less funny head. Still didn't really rate the episode though.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 26/04/2010 16:43

I haven't watched it yet.

Thought the Dalek one last week was crap though. I don't like the Dalek or Cybermen ones. Boring. Been done to the death.

Hope your friend is ok.
So that's the reason you don't do the London Marathon then?

Berrie · 27/04/2010 07:09

No need for the fingers! There were no spoilers!

I thought the daleks were stupid. As if a dalek would care what coulour it was. 'Ooo this is a charming shade of yellow!' 'I fancy sky blue!'
