McC school run abs fine. Love the daily walk through the park and up/down the hill. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

think I am just sad about dd1 being taken from me for so many hours tbh. I need sometime to adjust. Obviously there are a lot of advantages but I will miss her and it feels she's growing up. Now I regret every single time that I wanted my space. (I still want my space but ynwim, I hope).

It is a long day to be away from them I know. What will make you feel good though is when you realise how dd is flourishing without you, how the separation at 4 is of uppermost importance for her, how good for dd to be away from dd2, etc. And finally dd2 will have you to yourself!

Still they grow too fast.

I know what you mean about missing them but wanting to be left in peace.

just when I was resigning myself to just dream about house no 1, we get a call from estate agents wanting feedback, dp tells them that it's a bit out of our bracket and tell them our max (not as in we put in an offer). agent rang back 5 mins later to day the vendor basically hinted that he would consider that offer if we did! ohhhhhhhhh, if only it was in ely...... but it's soooooooo beauftiful. but we really need to be 100% sure, I don't want to move again!!

I felt totally bereft when ds went full time at 4, was tearful and a total mess.

wooden frame, all big beams everywhere, but left natural so still light, stone floor kitchen diner with brick wall with alcoves like you see that big fireplace. and the living room you see is the only roomm they haven't redecorated

No, ds went full time 2 years ago, there is a full time nursery in his school. Last year when he moved to reception dd was born, so I was glad he was there. Tbh i was in such a total mess i could not speak to many people about it, as of course most people thought "Wtf, you should be happy, you are free all day". Actually had a friend who was going through the same and we moaned about the wrench. Is that even a word?

Oh, god, i can feel that by the end of the evening I will be telling dp we have to move to Ely where you can buy a mansion for peanuts.
