too old to have fun?

i have two lovely children and i love beign a fulltime mum but i also love going out and having a laugh,im 35 but with a vey young attitude to life,the problem is none of my friends over here seem to want to go out for a girls night out,some are even younger than me,on the rare occasion that weve been out weve always had a great time but like i said is very rare they just seem to be quite happy sitting at home arguing with their husbands and fighting with the kids but i need to switch off and have fun,am i too old for all this?should i just buy myself a rocking chair and start knitting,i need to know im not the only one refusing to grow old too fast

Reminds of the time when a friend of mine had to go to the loo in Kings X station, there was a strange bloke hanging around the ladies so in her haste she did not check her bottom and got the the top of the escalatirs only to have someone tap her on the shoulder and tell her she had her skirt tucked into her knickers!!!!
