DH knocked the kitchen wall down after work today. I guess we'll start on the decorating soon. However, I want to put down some laminate flooring in the bedrooms because the tiles are an unattractive red/orange colour. Plus it will insulate sound wise. We already have the flooring as we got it on offer 2 years ago for this house and never laid it! Anyway DH is now saying he can't be arsed. I am letting the matter rest for a while but will try and get him to agree to putting it in our bedroom.

The decorating and furnishing of this house is going to be the subject of major negotiations!

Penthe, you just have to follow your instincts, I don't think you can parent any other way.

I think that if she's a proper bride, you have to look stylish (rather than conservative) - it'll make a nice contrast with her traditional dress, I would think.

No, I didn't. I looked at it, and walked about with it (while DD toddled dangerously around pulling down all the displays - maybe DH has a point... ), and it is a really nice bag, and I do really like it. But, I don't think I like it to the tune of £595. I kept on thinking of all the other things I could buy with the money. So I resisted, and felt terribly virtuous.

oh, I like that dress... similar to a wedding dress I was looking at the other day... I so need s.thing new for myself, my latest buy being a skirt from tesco! the only time I got an hour to go to the shops by myself, all set to buy a red dress I'd seen, I obviously bought nothing as the dress was gone ... actually, still got zara vouchers I got from work ... lol at little italy's nest!

Went to teh consultorio today and was tild that they - teh boses of USL 12 are planning on closing it ...Great so DH drafting letter as they want to shut it in 2 weeks time - what else can I do as they have been a lifeline for me ???
As for my hair apt DH has been saying what time will you be back ? . IF you are late will I have to feed the dds ..FGS nothing like making me feel guilty - I have said I
will cancel and go next week but he is to STOP going on and on !

Oh no rosa, such a shame for your lovely consultorio . Less and less money is invested in consultori, which on average are actually excellent. But I suppose they deem them subversive... and of course helping women is seen as a waste of money . Che paese di m.!!

Rosa, actually, the bride to be, hinted at wearing hats, but I don't think I'll oblige. Firstly because I wouldn't know where to buy a hat. Secondly, because they are probably very expensive!

Franca you can hire them in the Uk all over the place and they don't cost that much to hire. John Lewis used to have a good hat department - I love hats and wish I could wear them more.

LOL Minirosa has rolled over and is wriggling backwards her chubby legs have reached the marble and she is obvuiously feeling is cooler and is testing each leg - up and down I wish I had muscle control like that !!!
