how do we know she meant to miss?

starlover · 29/04/2005 16:53

at least it sat looking at it instead of shitting in your garden twiglett! maybe that's how they work LOL

colditz · 29/04/2005 16:53

Agree with twiglett, if you don't want her to throw things, you should make sure you clear up after it. Dog owners get nothing but flack for letting their pets crap everywhere, cat poo is even worse. How would you feel if your neighbour came and crapped in your garden?

starlover · 29/04/2005 16:53

does it matter bearess? if you phoned the RSPCA and said someone just threw a football near your cat they'd laugh in your face

Twiglett · 29/04/2005 16:54

maybe she's a good shot and aimed to miss? don't see it as being cruel you need to make the environment uncomfortable for the cat to want to visit, chucking a football in its direction sounds a good way to me. neighbourhood cat makes my life miserable

fairyfly · 29/04/2005 16:54

If someone knocked on my door to bollock me i would wait till nightfall and go and shit in their garden

starlover · 29/04/2005 16:54

rofl colditz. Am imagining the neighbours coming and squatting.....

Bearess · 29/04/2005 16:54

Errrrr... not quite the same really is it. Before you ask, we have a cat and she has a litter tray so would hope does not bother the neighbours with her mess. But throwing things at an animal is very off IMO.

Twiglett · 29/04/2005 16:55

no, it still poos

have resorted to some spray on chemical, which I am loathe to use and it is reducing amount of poo

however the blinking thing has now started pooig in the front garden

colditz · 29/04/2005 16:55

But bearess, so is crapping in someones garden!

starlover · 29/04/2005 16:56

i threw a shoe at a cat once. it was trying to eat my rabbit poor sid

tarantula · 29/04/2005 16:56

lol ff we get loads of cats in our veggie patch and if any of their owner came round cos I threw something at the cat they get their head bitten off esp as dd plays in the garden all the time. AFAIC kidsare more important than cats and cat poo is dangerous and disgusting

fairyfly · 29/04/2005 16:57

I'm sure a cat can handle a football, your cat sounds like it needs hardening up, far too precious, how is it going to ever win a fight or tear a birds head off

Joanne23 · 29/04/2005 16:57

she didn't answer her door, maybe she saw me coming. then again she does have young kids and it is dinnertime, I'm going back later or should I rite a note? I dont get how so many people think its ok to throw a ball at a cat

Bearess · 29/04/2005 16:57

BUT where did Joanne say the cat had pooed in her garden? My point is that it is cruel to throw something at an animal.

snafu · 29/04/2005 16:58

Cat poo is particularly vile though. Our neighbour's cat craps in our front garden - it is horrible to open the front door of a morning and be assailed by that smell.

This thread is going to go south, I can feel it

starlover · 29/04/2005 16:58

or maybe she just doesn't care?

starlover · 29/04/2005 16:59

but it didn't hit the cat!!!

Joanne23 · 29/04/2005 17:01

I'm sure he does poo in her garden thats no excuse at all cats need to poo and yes he does have a litter tray here thank you very much

OP posts:
Bearess · 29/04/2005 17:01

It is vile snafu and I would yell at a cat who I spotted doing the business in our garden (which they do) and would tell mine off if I saw her doing it in someone else's garden but I think throwing things at animals is not a nice thing to do.

fairyfly · 29/04/2005 17:01

monkeys and seals like it

Joanne23 · 29/04/2005 17:02

what the hell is dangerus about cat poo it doesn't smnell good but its not dangerous is it

OP posts:
Bearess · 29/04/2005 17:02

what - cat poo?!2

starlover · 29/04/2005 17:02

maybe it isn't very nice. but it's just a football, and if it was one of those kids ones they really wouldn't have hurt the cat even if it had hit it.

It is VERY annoying when a cat persistently shits in your garden, and as others have said, she is probably sick of it and that was the first thing to hand.

starlover · 29/04/2005 17:02

it can give you toxoplasmosis
