Electryfied fence? they look lovely and inofensive in the countryside, if they can keep a cow in, they surely can keep a cat out, though, I'm not sure the cat would survive the shock...

SenoraPostrophe · 19/02/2006 15:35

also in our garden we have dh on sniper dudty with his bb gun. it isn't really a permanent solution though. perhaps we should try strychnine.

Blandmum · 19/02/2006 15:38

Hmmmm poisoned catnip?

Ot something like this

cat defence perimeter

JanH · 19/02/2006 15:39

With mice operating anti-cat guns in the helicopters.

SenoraPostrophe · 19/02/2006 15:40

lol at the tiny landmines.

MarsOnLife · 19/02/2006 15:41

whatever happened to the other thread... the one where the cat was thrown at the football????????????

Pixiefish · 19/02/2006 15:41

Did we ever find out who the OP was?

Chandra · 19/02/2006 15:42

My neighbour finished years of catproofing with cayena pepper, though, she never expected an old cat could die from an overdose... but hey, she has not had to remove more cat poo from her DDs' feet in months.

Perhaps she should have had to forbid her DDs to use the garden so the cat could poo in peace?

cupcakes · 19/02/2006 15:43

PS4 - please tell me you're cod again.

JanH · 19/02/2006 15:43

It was twiglett!

cupcakes · 19/02/2006 15:45

who? PS4 or Joanne23?

Pixiefish · 19/02/2006 15:46

yes so it was janh.

anyone remember the thread where it got a bit heated talking about puttig pepper and curry powder down to keep cats out of the garden. Ages ago now. Maybe P4 wants us to catproof our gardens that way

Blandmum · 19/02/2006 15:49

tiger shit is supposed to be good at detering cats. But then if your aim is a feline turd free garden it sort of defeats the objective....

NotQuiteCockney · 19/02/2006 15:51

One of my neighbours has really reduced cats coming in by just putting netting through the fence, iyswim. The cats were going through the fence, now they have to jump over, and that's too much like hard work, so they mostly don't bother.

Pixiefish · 19/02/2006 15:51

Unles you live near a zoo and can have some from there martian lol

JanH · 19/02/2006 15:54

cucpcakes, joanne23 was twiglett.

You can buy lion poo in bags, pf - possibly from garden centres?

Pixiefish · 19/02/2006 15:56

lovely janh- very interesting piece of info there- very useful lol

JanH · 19/02/2006 16:01

"Silent Roar"!!!

JanH · 19/02/2006 16:02

"No more pussy poops" - gag.

Pixiefish · 19/02/2006 16:03

jeepers-

cupcakes · 19/02/2006 16:08

now I feel stupid for assuming it was cod (apologies ).
Twiglett! Well, well...

JanH · 19/02/2006 16:17

What NQC said about making it hard for them to get in is dead right, btw. If our gate is left open they will stroll in and crap in the borders but if it's shut they crap in someone else's.

JanH · 19/02/2006 16:18

(cats, that is, not cod and twiggy)

cupcakes · 19/02/2006 20:28

snort

waterfalls · 12/05/2006 23:21
