I was just wondering where everyone comes from - I'm sitting here in Croydon (South London) having a chat with someone in Australia (or wherever) - it's great!

So what's your home town/country?

My dad is a Newport boy and we go there most Saturdays or Sundays to visit my gran, who is now in a nursing home there. My mum is from Cardiff and I was born in Swansea (and am back living there now)

So that's my South Wales credentials established!

Joe - we'll have to get together. I'm very curious to know what other Mumsnet users look like! I usually feel that most of them are in London, or miles away!

Ok Mel, shall we do lunch. Ive got a very hectic month in front of me, weekends away and a weeks holiday so sometime in end of October beginning of November would be good.

Joe -End of October, during half term would be good. Can't do lunch except school holidays - I'm a teacher!
