Know what you mean about furry things. Hopefully it's just squirrels, but if seeds aren't in a feeder they disappear FAR to fast.

I've noticed Coal tits (much nicer than Great tits don't you think) Blue tits, Robins and the usual Blackbirds, Sparrows, Wood Pigeons, Collared Doves and occasional Thrush. The best was a pair of Long Tailed Tits. They are very pretty. In the park the other day, I saw a pair of birds I can't identify. About as small as a wren, but they were crawling up the tree like mice. I assumed they would be tree creepers or nut hatches, but when I looked them up they most definitely weren't either. My mum suggested they were actually mice, but they did fly so I doubt it.

Nearly mentioned before how I never see finches in the garden, and have just seen 2 pairs of Siskins! They might be your yellow birds Voodoo. Def not green finches.

OOps don't try www.btitnernet.com when trying to log onto BT email!

Macdog · 23/04/2009 19:20

We had goldfinches, greenfinches and siskins before I took the feeders down.
Miss them, but not enough to have the rats around

i have sinusitis again and it hurts when i bend over the keyboard. but its a bit better, im on a night shift on saturday night, then back to normal for a whole week.

how do we enter a poetry comp? where is it , on here?

i got ds2 some huggoes pull up nappies and he thinks there swimming nappies, now he has had a wally every morning when i put them on and he wants to go "swim swim" and we dont, he goes to nursery instead!

Jennster · 24/04/2009 04:49

Oh Worley oh dear I'm sorry. Sinusitis is the pits. Steam inhalation (three times a day), a full dose of paracetamol and/or ibuprofen for the pain, and plenty of fluids. I thought I had a cold and was going to get sinusitis, but that was 2 weeks ago and I've still got copious amounts of snot. It's just hayfever unfortunately. Nothing I can take for it.

Jennster · 24/04/2009 04:49

No I'm not in labour.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeesus. We are having a new central heating system being fitted. These plumbers are doing my head in! They bicker and shout at each other like a married couple. My head is spinning. Dh was home at lunch, and his words were (via text) 'It's f*ing relentless' in response to me saying do you know what I mean now?

im way addicted to twilight series. complete trash but i love it. watched the film twice this week.

have 12 lavanders to pot up tomorrow, watching gardeners world now. i've decided to cut my garden in half with a picket fence, half for me and half for the kids/dog to run in, so they dont kick balls on my plants and ruin my intended veg plots.

Macdog · 25/04/2009 09:07
