I love the Secret Garden! I felt like that little girl when I was sent to boarding school - all sad and unloved. I wasn't unloved, of course, and my mother was so unhappy to do it, but it was a connection, IYSWIM?

The fact that the Mafia now (in)directly support Forza Italia, etc., is an illogical quirk of history, though! If you believe that Forza Italia is - in certain respects - fascistic, then the Mafia - historically - should be against it, because Mussolini, of all people, came closest to wiping them out, I believe. Or am I wrong about that?

But since after ww2, Mafia has always "supported" whoever won the elections or had stronger links to the area etc. that's been historically the democrazia cristiana. But I think the mafia would try to infiltrate any political party, tbh.
