Well...I had a wonderful moment today
One of the patients I have helped treating told me today, that ebcause of what I said to her she started looking at her disability differently and feels less self conscience (sp?) about it....that made me feel all warm and fuzzy ...
she is the sweetest young woman, but was very down on herself....and we got talking a few weeks ago and I mentioned to her how I found it difficult to accept myself when I was younger and felt so bad about the way I looked and when people stared and stuff...but that I have come to the conclusion that other people dont matter and that I have started liking myself more and more over the years, etc...well...you get the drift...and it really made a difference to her, made her think, etc...
I am just so glad that she is feeling better about herself, etc...
