So I'm a 31 year old turning 32 in December and I never had a bf still living with parents and I've been working at McDonalds for 11 years I don't have any friends I just work and come home. but i sometimes go shopping by myself after work or with a coworker. on Sundays when i get out of work i go out with my parents. But Monday and Tuesday I go out with my mom & go shopping.

You are getting a lot of responses OP with very little feedback from you other than variations on a theme of what do you think?’

Do u think im stuck in life and I’m doing nothing with my life?

I mean you obviously do, hence the thread.

So why not quit with the one sentence replies and type couple of paragraphs telling us how you really feel and why you started the thread.

I mean apart from 'Cos I just wondered how others feel'?

You need to give more detail about yourself for people to make a fair judgement. Do you have any qualifications? Do you have any disability or learning needs? Any mental or physical health problems? How is your communication skills? Social skills? Are you confident, assertive, have good initiative, good English and maths skills? Can you take care of your daily needs like cooking, cleaning etc.
Stuck to one person is thriving to another. As much as people who have high flying careers like to think it's all down to hard work that's just not true. We're not all born with the same ability to learn and develop.

Yes to me you do sound stuck. If you were my dd I would be worried about you.
No hobbies, no interests, no friends or social life.
Of course you may be happy with your life and that’s great. I’m not sure you would be asking what we think if you were.
Would you like your life to be different?

I think your life sounds lonely. Which is ok if you’re happy.

i think you might enjoy a hobby, if you can get outside of your comfort zone.

i also think you want more out of life, otherwise why are you asking what others think?

but I don’t think you’re going to get past your ‘stuck’ feeling unless you offer a little more context of open up with how you’re feeling.

What

Ah!
interaction.

CleverlyBeery · Yesterday 17:36

Presumably you're in the USA (trunk or treat isn't really a thing in the UK)?
Do you live in a town, city, rurally?

Dragononawagon · Yesterday 17:37

I think it’s a very small life.

Would you like a boyfriend?
Do you want to work at McDs forever?
How old are your parents?

I can't possibly make a judgement about you based on what you've said. It just makes me wonder if something has got in the way of you (for example) meeting someone you fancy and going on a date, or deciding to change jobs, or trying something new like singing in a choir . Do you ever think you would like a change, or feel tempted to do something different? And if so, what stops you!

BillieWiper · Yesterday 17:50

Why does it matter what a load of internet strangers think about who you live with and how long you've worked in fast food service? Or what you do to occupy your time?

If you want to make friends join local hobby groups? A gym? A part time course? What about online friendships or discussion groups?

Nothing wrong with being close to your parents. And your colleague, Couldn't they become a friend? You could invite them to a restaurant, pub or to your house?

It's not anyone's place to pass judgement on your life. If you're not harming anyone then frankly nobody is really bothered what you do. They simply wish for strangers to be happy in their lives and not hurt others. If they are not just simply focussing on themselves.

If this thread is real (unlikely) and representative of your social and conversational skills, then your situation is unsurprising.

Livpool · Yesterday 17:56

If you’re happy then crack on, it wouldn’t be for me but then you may think the same about my life.

Livpool · Yesterday 17:57

Also, there is nothing ‘wrong’ with working at McDonalds.

I agree with this its more the social side that is lacking the job part is absolutely fine

Trunk or treat is a Halloween event where people drive to a car park, open the boot and give out sweets to the kids that come along. It’s an American thing I think. Posters on Reddit talk about it.

ChildrenOfAlbionRovers · Yesterday 21:01

@Hephzibah64 - ah, thank you.

I prefer the elephant theory, though. 😂

grinandslothit · Yesterday 21:51

If you're happy I wouldn't worry about it
At your age you could have a bum of an ex-husband and struggling financially taking care of a couple little kids all by yourself

Consider yourself fortunate
