Is anyone watching this at the moment? What do you think about the Laura/Garry/Ian/Lynne storyline? Do you think Laura is behaving unreasonably? Should Garry have to live up to his responsibilities?

I think he probably should, but that Laura is out of order - she keeps going on about 'What sort of a man cheats on his wife for a quickie when he's drunk?' when of course, that's exactly what she's done (but obviously to her husband!).

DH told me the baby of both sexes, was on Footballers Wives. The baby adopted by whats-is-name and Chardonney, from his Mum. Jason ( the bio-father)seems to want to know the child, but I supose, that will change !!!!

I know that jessie wallace (Kat) got told off by her bosses and got suspended from the show for about 2/3 months. It should be soon, so after she loses the baby know doubt she will need to go away and clear her head (like zoe)

Ooooh ... how I miss Eastenders! When I got here they had it as a daytime soap 4 days a week and it was about 3 months behind and then in August they took it off so that they could cover the America's Cup every afternoon (yawn yawn!) So the last episode I saw was when Anthony proposed to Zoe!!!!
I have been reading through this thread and I am reeling ... if anyone says to me what do you miss about England I always say Eastenders ... how sad is that?
We do have Corrie though... but we are behind ... Gail married whatsisname yesterday (he buried his wife in the garden a month ago) ... so I have lots to look forward to.
Eastenders comes back in March ... am counting the days and planning activities for DS so that I can watch it uninterrupted ...

no ghosty it isn't sad at all, at christmas i was gutted because i always tape the omnibus of eastenders on the sunday, and the one with the wedding and jamie dying, i ended up taping the wrong side and missed the whole weeks worth. I had a strop on for days with that. Anthony has just proposed to Kat, who will be next big-mo.

I'm sorry, but how does someone as ugly and charmless as Phil Mitchell continue to pull attractive women?????????

I think that Kate may not be as she seems - I suspect she might bw whispering the sweet nothing "Oi, Mitchell, you're nicked!" before too long

Interesting - but in reality......would a policewoman go THAT far ??? Really ??? Would the police force expect her to or would she be acting in a maverick fashion to net her prey ?

My cousin seems to think she is an undercover cop too. I think she has been hired to probe him about Lisa. Get close to him and get him to tell her what happened.

Well she hasn't slept with him yet , because she said he was getting fed up with not getting past first base.

It reminds me of the policewoman who was used to try and get Colin Stagg to confess.

NEver thought of that must run and tell my mum (don't say how sad!) what a great twist that would be but perhaps too deep for Eastenders!!!!

If this is not going to be the story maybe the powers that be at Mumsnet would like to sell this fantasic story to the Eastenders script writers It's a good story isn't it....hope it come true.

Hadn't thought about the undercover cop thing - like it, sounds plausible.

BTW, I've heard it's definitely going to be Gus or Paul's baby. So I would predict that Ian finally takes her back and forgives her, decides to raise the child as his own (as he did with Stephen) only to presented with a black baby in the delivery room! This would be the best way to milk the storyline for all it's worth. Love the comments about WPC Kate and Phil - hope it's true! I heard there's going to be a one-off special showing what actually did happen to Lisa. I feel quite sordid now, talking about 'Stenders like this. I'm a Corrie girl first & foremost...

I think it is true because dd and dh both told me they read it somewhere a few weeks ago. And I saw the woman who played Lisa on telly the other day saying she had filmed a special about what happened , with 3 different endings to keep it from being leaked.

I 've always thought she was a friend of Lisa's but the cop thing sounds more likely
