What is the best piece of advice you were ever told?

Never be financially dependent on someone else. Always have your own source of income/savings or education.

Expect nothing. That way, you'll never be disappointed.

To go back to work after having children

Never mind what they say - watch what they do.

You can't fix stupid. Actions speak louder than words

'It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.' I know it's good advice but I sometimes struggle to keep to it, I'm a pathetic people pleaser. But at least I KNOW what I'm doing.

You're always with
