It's been snowing all day here and very windy. I drove to the supermarket quite early and also did som recycling. Glad not to be out on the roads now. There's been a huge accident not far from here on the motorway with 90 cars involved. Very icy road apparently.

I've changed the bed so now Fräsan has claimed it

90-car accident OMG. Driving today was wet and miserable, but fortunately no accidents. I did get my backside in gear and checked my tyre pressure - it's just a tedious job.

We have been out for a nice meal and had a bonus catch-up with FancyMan. Am not the size of a house though, fortunately. We're trying
to work out if there's anything we can do tomorrow that won't be inundated with children-on-holiday

Grey and cold here too. LovelyMIL came for lunch. Gave her a lift home and went to visit BigSis at her new house. I’m not one really for vibes or feelings from houses and such like, but I got a feeling they’re going to be happy. Also that the two boarded up panels on each side of the porch are hiding dead bodies but that’s too much Midsomer Murders for you 😁

Chonk & Floof were predictably anti-social, but by this morning Floof was brave enough to take a treat of extra mature cheddar and give a couple of head butts before scuttling off.

It is exciting apricot, he's hoping for a quick turnaround which is daunting, so fingers crossed for him.

New series for the Tav - LetUs Investigates... I'm sure we could find a suitable sidekick (or two) for the investigations. They could be wearing leather for practicality purposes (wipe down if it gets grubby), and swords can act as crowbars as well as encouraging people to help with investigations. Maybe we could have HBF handymen as well to inspect and set right any over-enthusiastic ripping out of cladding to check for dead bodies? you get the idea... (Are we allowed to post pictures yet, after the recent unpleasant shenanigans?)

Anyway, mini-meet was huge amounts of fun, including good company, hot chocolates, and an awesome gig.

Afternoon. A bit brighter today but it’s very cold. I did a few jobs locally this morning then went a walk round the road to see what was going on. Not much apart for the ongoing roadworks. There was a flock of seagulls <nto> hovering overhead so it must be cold for them to come this far inland.

We’ve been out for lunch with DH’s sister and her DH, first time we’ve seen them since last July as they live a couple of hours away. It was nice to have a catch up although it mostly consists of our various health problems now.

In good news, DS's previous house has sold and the sale has been completed. Such a relief to us all, it's been a horrendous couple of years, but we're now free of his ex and he can get on with his life.
