Been awake from 5, thought it was Thursday. Read for a bit after DH had gone, still thinking it’s Thursday. Time to get up and I thought hang on, did I finish work early yesterday? No, I didn’t. Had to look at my phone to check that today is actually Friday. I suspect I’ve peaked for good news today though 😁

Work was busy and involved confusing emails that I haven't got to the bottom of. Still, that's done for this week anyway.

Mr H is continuing to improve I think. Though it was 'too cold' for him to be outside and help with plants that got blown over . I'm sure he could have just wrapped up more and helped, but I wasn't in the most cheerful frame of mind having found that he'd noticed them going and said nothing. So it was probably sensible for him to stay out of my way for a bit. There was much swearing.

I’ve been watching a new (to me) series called Astrid: Murder in Paris. Can’t do anything else at the same time though because subtitles.

Evening all. Today was much as expected, and definitely improved by getting outside for a while. Washing didn't get very dry on the line though.

Haven't come across Astrid: Murder in Paris - DS has us watching The Hateful Eight - a Tarantino western - as bloodthirsty as you'd expect.

Mostly just pootling around today - deciding whether to mix up how I hang the pictures in my room, or just put them back up where they were - argggh, decisions!!!! It's very grey and drizzly here, so will venture no further than the bins, a good day to stay inside.

We’re watching the latest series of Silent Witness. It’s good, but I wish they hadn’t got Nikki and Jack together. I enjoyed watching the frisson between them and it’s rather spoiled now. I think JKR has got the right idea with Strike and Robin.

Evening. We have been out for a family meal which was nice, though I'd messed up food timings and had to eat late afternoon - which didn't work well with an early evening meal. On the other hand - saved money by not wanting much to eat!

I did get puppy cuddle, and and am now torturing myself again looking at puppies online. v. impractical.
It' cold here too - the wind has got up again and is biting.
