Afternoon. Still wet and windy here. Lots of trees down in the area but nothing in the immediate vicinity. Facebook tells me that the caravan site has no major damage so that’s a relief.

My Christmas cards are also sitting in the box, but I’ll do them tomorrow. Yes, I will. DH hasn’t had his annual fight with the tree lights yet so I can’t put the decorations on.

Evening all. I have done nothing productive other than a food shop and some more decorations going up. Oh, and a bit of work to get ahead of myself for tomorrow. But no cards, and no gardening. Lots of sudoku though, which might account for the lack of productivity.

Afternoon. Not quite so windy here now and we even had a little sun - bet it's cold out there <shivers> Am off into town with DD in a few minutes - we did do some shopping online last night as well, she is very good at present shopping for her brother!

Afternoon. Quite nice this morning but it started raining later. This is about as dark as it gets in the afternoons and from next Monday we’re on the other side and it starts to get lighter, albeit very slowly. The mornings still get darker until the end of the month though.

Well, I did a wash load this morning and I’ve just found it, still in the washer.

Sudoku and knitting are indeed not doing nothing but very good stress busters.

Helen - not sure if you’ve tried it already for WobblyCat, but I asked NiceColleague what they changed her cat’s food to when she was similarly wobbly. It’s Royal Canin Joint Care. She said something about you have to give a reason when ordering it or something, so she says just put “recommended”. I hope that helps.

Thanks for the tip LetUs - I'll look into that for WobblyCat, though I'll have to check with the vet probably, because she's already on 'sensitive stomach' food. No point giving her posh joint food if she only throws it up again

I have still done no cards for present shopping. I'm thinking Saturday might be hideous a convenient day to get some done, since I can join the heaving crowds while DS is doing SportingActivity.

However, early morning exercise class is today, which is paid for in advance - and that's enough motivation to get my backside in gear and go! In the meantime. WobblyCat is on my lap and purring, which is good for the soul.

Afternoon. Dark and cold here too, but no rain.

I’ve done the cards, yay! I don’t have nearly as many as I used to so it wasn’t too bad. I’ve also put the decorations on the two smaller trees, so only have the main one to do. I always put them away in their boxes in a certain order so it’s easy next time but unfortunately DH has tipped them all out in his search for the damn fairy, so I’ve got to sort them all out before I start. <sigh>

Hope exercise class and shopping went well. Awww at purry WobblyCat.

DH was off today as we had some work booked on the house. They didn’t turn up. He contacted them, they finally got back to him with apologies and explanations. He did get chance to get all the decorations down so the house is decorated and the tree’s up with lights on it. My job is to decorate the tree. I adopt a random approach.

The tree gets decorated at the top here, but no so much lower down <side-eyes at IdiotKitty>

Work has been busy and stressful. Argh, etc. Have baked biscoff flapjacks <leaves door on the latch for wench raiding parties>

Still dark here but I am buoyed by Apricot’s Hours of Darkness update that things will pick up soon in the evenings.

Plan is to call at various shops on the way in today so I need to leave early.

Afternoon. Damp and dismal but not raining. I had a load of jobs to do locally but had to wait in for a parcel. They gave me a 4-hour slot and of course it came right at the end. Anyway, I got the jobs done eventually.

I've also finished decorating the tree. I don't put anything on the bottom branches either Helen, although Misty doesn't seem interested in it.

DS has been round to write cards for relations. If I don't actually put them in front of him he won't bother.

So dark. However, I checked the sunrise sunset times and am cheered that, as mentioned by our expert, the sunsets start to get a little later. Only be a minute here and there but it counts.
