Hope you all find me.

Berrie · 16/04/2008 11:29

Oh dear...sorry about that. Guess dh working away has advantages sometimes!

Zebedeedoodah · 16/04/2008 14:07

Yes. Thank God.

oggsfrog · 16/04/2008 14:24

Poor Zeb. Will you eat it yourselves?

I've just been food shopping and spent too much . They were doing 3 bottles of one of dh's fav wines for £10 so I bought six. I'll have to get him to hide the bloody things .

Zebedeedoodah · 16/04/2008 14:38

I always spend too much food shopping. Once I get into a cheese shop that's it.

And as for the calf, unfortunately it's a case of getting the hunt in. But DH is now trying to appeal, so we'll see.

oggsfrog · 16/04/2008 14:43

If it's not passported can't you just pretend it doesn't exist and eat it yourself. T'would be a waste if the hunt got to have it.

The cow we had was one that had been wild on the hill and had never been passported. Just got somebody with a humane killer to come and we strung it up in the trees.

Zebedeedoodah · 16/04/2008 14:50

You're right, but I'm not sure. I'm not really going to be discussing it with DH for now - it doesn't help that it was one of the best heiffer calves we had this year.

oggsfrog · 16/04/2008 14:54

Aw. Sorry for going on about it Seen any good Hugh films recently?

Zebedeedoodah · 16/04/2008 15:12

That's more like it. Friday night I am dreading.

Nope, no recent Hugh-movies, but I guess I could re-watch one of them tonight with a bottle of something white and cold to cheer me up now I have a nice collection. Which do you suggest? And did you EVER a) watch Animal Attraction or b)receive Paperback Hero?

LyraSilvertongue · 16/04/2008 15:22

Done the pictures at last. They're on my profile.
Now I just have to save them all to a CD and take them into town to be printed out.

On the subject of diets, if you guys are after a quick fix, have you considered Lighter Life? Some of the mums at school have done it and they've lost huge amounts of weight. One has lost (I think) 8 stone. Another, who I was speaking to at the weekend, has lost 3 stone in 3 months. Just something to consider...

OP posts:
Berrie · 17/04/2008 11:14

I fell off the wagon Lyra. I am deeply ashamed.
I've heard good things about lighter life too. I understood it was expensive though.

binkleandflip · 17/04/2008 11:14

Sorry I've not been about much, I've been trying to get organised for the salon, went to Spain at the weekend to visit a friend who moved out there last year and I thought if I dont go now I wont get to go for ages with the business.

My friends mum did Lighter Life and dropped loads of weight and my SIL is on Cambridge Diet at the mo which is all liquid too I think - I'm considering it but just dont know if I have the willpower although hopefully when I am on my feet all day soon I will a/ be too busy to slob around drinking tea and scoffing biscuits b/ the weight will drop off naturally

Zebedeedoodah · 17/04/2008 11:32

Sorry Lyra, that's a well-deserved telling off. But yesterday was a v crap day - DH still hasn't spoken to me. Not even texted.

Hey Binkle - how's the massage parlour business going?

LyraSilvertongue · 17/04/2008 11:32

It is but the results seem to be worth it. I'd do it if I had a little more to lose. I think the minimum's 3 stone or something.

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 17/04/2008 11:33

Zeb, you are forgiven under the circumstances
I did have a teensy weensy glass myself after the planning application news on Monday.
Hope things are ok with DH when he comes home.

OP posts:
Berrie · 17/04/2008 11:35

How much is it Lyra? The website doesn't say.

Hey Binkle!
