Hope you all find me.

How long are you going for Lyra? I bet the dc are soooo excited

Zeb, I finally have a copy of Paperback Hero. Hurray! Just need to offload dh for an evening now .

Berrie ((hugs)), sorry you're feeling low . It might be worth seeing the Doc and asking his/her advice. Don't know how easy/difficult it is to swap over, but if the one you're on is not doing the trick...

Still have nameless pony. Today's suggestions were Hair Bear, Scooby and Sprout (dd's contribution) .

Berrie · 03/04/2008 20:01

I like Sprout!

LyraSilvertongue · 03/04/2008 20:44

I like Scooby, mainly because DSs are obsessed with Scooby Doo.
We're going for five days, which is probably about right - not too long, not too short. I can't wait to see their little faces when we get to the Magic Kingdom

Hope you have a great time!

Zebedeedoodah · 04/04/2008 14:24

When are you off Lyra?

Oggs, have you got around to watching Animal Attraction yet?

And Berrie, I'm still with Uncle Fester, but failing that, I think Sprout's good.

Binkle, where've you got to? Or are you busy with empire-building now?

Me? I just met my trainer in the gym and she made me work very hard. I even broke into a sweat for heaven's sake!

Berrie · 04/04/2008 15:49

Good for you Zeb...you will be slender in no time!
Me? i went to an Osteopath today...a different one. I had to strip to my underware for this one...lets just say I wasn't prepared for that as the other one didn't ask for that. It felt worse after than it did before!

Zebedeedoodah · 04/04/2008 16:27

I wish Berrie Deciding on what to get for dinner that's quick, easy, tasty and not too fattening (step away from the pizzas Zeb!). I'm thinking chicken breasts....

LyraSilvertongue · 04/04/2008 17:57

We're off first thing tomorrow.
Got everything sorted. The boot of the car is full to the brim. I just bought enough food in the end for lunches and snacks. Breakfast's included and we'll eat out in the evenings. Apparently you get a big bag filled with fresh baguettes, warm croissants, coffee, jam, cheese, butter etc every morning. I'll be a stone heavier by the time I get back.
Can't wait!

Berrie · 04/04/2008 18:20

Oh lovely! Have loads of fun!

Berrie · 05/04/2008 08:27

Any name decisions yet Oggs?

Zebedeedoodah · 05/04/2008 16:29

It's our turn with the chickens. We went to a farm sale this am and DH bid on a cockerel as it was only a pound. So we're now off to collect some more chickens, as I'm not sure how you explain to a 2 year old why the chicken can't lay eggs!

And today's Telegraph has a 2-for-1 offer on the top tickets for various musicals, valid until the end of June, including Les Mis, the Sound of Music and a few others. Les Mis is on £55 tickets. Anyone interested in that, or any of the others? I'll re-check all the shows later after we've finished the Great Chicken Hunt.

Berrie · 05/04/2008 19:51

I'm interested but I would think we could get to see Les Mis for cheaper than that!

I will ask MFL'sF when he gets back. He is auditioning for the touring Mary Poppins in London at mo.

Enjoy your Cock this weekend!

oggsfrog · 05/04/2008 19:56

Don't think I could do it so soon Zeb. Strapped for cash at moment .

Still no name as yet. Dh keeps going back to Hillbilly , poor bugger seems destined to be Monkey Boy, which is what he is most often referred to as...

Hope Lyra is having better weather than us. We've had ping-pong ball sized hail and it's now snowing.

oggsfrog · 05/04/2008 20:12

Aargh! The touring Joseph is in Glasgow at the beginning of May. Aargh! Dd knows and has seen a flyer. Aargh! Aargh!...

Zebedeedoodah · 06/04/2008 13:33

Who's in it Oggs?!

And,not ever one to do things by halves, DH bought 10 hens yesterday and DS is exstatic, although also disappointed that as yet there are no 'eggies'. At least I think I know enough people to flog them too when the inevitable over-production kicks in.

I'm also happy to hang fire on a meet up - we'll just organise it when we're all able to do it.

oggsfrog · 06/04/2008 14:31

Keith, who's bearable as he has a good voice, Chris B aka Teeth, who also is bearable, and Craig.

Pony still unnamed. Dh is now of opinion that it should be Mc/Mac something...

Berrie · 06/04/2008 14:49

What are the hens like Zeb?

oggsfrog · 06/04/2008 15:23

How have yours settled in Berrie?

Berrie · 06/04/2008 16:22

They are a daft bunch!
If I am working at the table by the window (the pen is right outside) They hop up onto the top of the hen house and look at me!

binkleandflip · 06/04/2008 16:35

Cor hasnt this week flown??

I even missed saying Bon Voyage to Lyra, she'll be there now, lucky thing

This thread moves so quickly sometimes, am I the only one completely without chickens then?? This must be rectified I feel, I will approach dh about it as soon as my empire is in motion

I feel like I've missed lots - have we decided anymore about another meet-up yet? I am up for see anything at all, anywhere really, I just have to plan better now as of course I wont be spending my days watching telly with the dog from now on eh Berrie? so will have to arrange cover etc but would definately like to do it again as soon as we can make it happen.

oggsfrog · 06/04/2008 20:03

I'd love to do another meet-up but money is my main constraint.

Lyra hasn't got any chickens either Binkle. I could sew you a little red felt comb and put it on elastic... you could slip it over your bunny's head and pretend it's a chicken

Berrie · 06/04/2008 21:04

Perhaps we should come to you Oggs!

oggsfrog · 07/04/2008 00:46

Ooh, I'd love to have you all up here. Bugger knows where you'd all sleep/pee/apply make-up etc though

Coo. Is it really that time??

Berrie · 07/04/2008 09:02

Lordy Oggs...that was very nearly morning time!

Zebedeedoodah · 07/04/2008 09:04

Morning! We've got SNOW!!!! Brrr. It's April for heaven's sake.
