No rain here today (well, a few spots) but there's more forecast tomorrow. The water has dropped today, though I still can't get to the bottom of the garden.

Work was quite eventful from a sort of personnel point of view. Sometimes people need someone to stick up for them (with their permission).

Dentist went well for me and then okay for DS2.

Have been out at a client's the last two days - client is new to me & I have our newest recruit out with us too, so it's not restful. Has been productive though, which is good.

DS went off for the bus, and then came back for his phone. He's not come back again, so I'm guessing the bus was running late and he hasn't missed it.

Ordered some kit for college for DS2 which has arrived very quickly hurrah! One of the tops is the wrong size booooo.

Currently watching Wycliffe with DS2 with unfortunately horrible indigestion. Was considered a bath but can’t be arsed. Haven’t done any knitting all week except possibly on Monday. Getting a bit behind with planned projects.

I have worked. Um... a rather large tree has fallen over next door, but isn't causing any problems for us. There's sod all exciting to be honest, other than the water continuing to drop - we have a high water mark of windfall apples

I'd like a bath too, but still feel a bit re. water levels outside, not being on mains drainage.

Thanks for the Gaviscon - seemed to do the trick alongside some peppermint cordial. Do you have anything for a very sore hip? Woke me up in the night and is still hurting now. Have done some stretches but they haven’t helped much. Woe is me.

FML Wenches - I put washing out. Two loads because I've been holding off until the water dropped. I couldn't work out why the line was dropping until I saw the pole at a completely wonky angle. The ground is so wet that the weight of the washing pulled the pole over (bear in mind that it's buried in a hole in the ground that's filled with concrete). FFAS.

Oh well. Working week is done, and I'm going to visit a friend who has a hot tub this weekend. Bliss!

We went up to the crem this morning as it’s my Mum’s anniversary. DH always thinks he knows a quicker way there - he doesn’t - so we end up having an argument. Every time. I should just keep quiet and let him get on with it but I can’t help myself. . Now we’ve got DS’s DC for the rest of the day. DD also came round for a chat.
