absolutely [insert abusive swearword here] gobsmackingly definitely not under any circumstances....

no

shimmy · 19/01/2008 21:27

absolutely not

policywonk · 19/01/2008 21:28

Not unless I was really, really drunk.

tiredemma · 19/01/2008 21:28

she was a witch.

Took milk from kids. ripped the heart out of mining communities. blah blah blah.#

But she did have balls in the Falklands Conflict.

But no- I remember my parents being absolutly bloody broke under her poxy tory govt.

fryalot · 19/01/2008 21:29

not even if I was really, really drunk and had taken copious amounts of illegal drugs

midnightexpress · 19/01/2008 21:30

done a better job of what exactly Whoosh?

Whooosh · 19/01/2008 21:31

oooh-can see by exposing mysle I may have a problem....still say she was a good thing-for a lot of people.
But hey, politics bores the shit out of me and I don't pay much attention to it,however, she mayhave banned milk in schools but her government enabled me to get on the housing ladder.

fizzbuzz · 19/01/2008 21:32

Thatcher, thatcher, milk snatcher. Absolutely not

fryalot · 19/01/2008 21:33

oh there's no denying that she was great for some people

The rich

donnie · 19/01/2008 21:35

Oh good God no.

Just look at her vile arms dealing slimeball son. Takes after his mother.

SugarSkyHigh · 19/01/2008 21:36

she was definitely a good thing for many people not just the rich

fizzbuzz · 19/01/2008 21:37

I hold her responsible for the traffic explosion. Remember her " on your bike" for jobseekers (ie the millions she had made unemployed)People only started to commute long distances to work after that (apart from London of course)

Quattrocento · 19/01/2008 21:38

I don't think I'd want to sleep with her. Why, are there some mums who do?

serenity · 19/01/2008 21:39

Never. Her 'every man for himself' ideas and policies are exactly why we're living in such a selfish society now.

rantinghousewife · 19/01/2008 21:39

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, no no no no!
Evil old hag bitch!

fizzbuzz · 19/01/2008 21:41

Completely agree Serenity. Spitting Image did it well, especially when she used to cosy up to Ronnie (Regan)

Heated · 19/01/2008 21:41

I always find these opinion polls on MT interesting as very few ppl stick their head above the parapet and admit voting her in.

Whooosh · 19/01/2008 21:41

"Tarred with the same brush"-ring a bell?
Her son is a complete and utter twat and criminal-doesn't mean his mother was/is.

So shoot me down in flames-I don't think she only benefitted the "rich"-I certainly wasn't when I bought my first home (nor am I now)

I don't thinks she wasted anywhere near as much money as Blair did in her tenure versus his ridiculous "arse licking" support of the Iraq war.

MAybeI amjust a bit too simplistic or thick?
