As things panned out, I was very nearly called Harriott. yes, spelled like that. Like Ainsley.

My dad wanted me to be called Natasha, and if I was a boy I was going to be called Tom.

Blue or Bellew. The sad thing is, I'd rather had been named that than have the nickname I've had for my entire life (my mn username).

I was Victoria for a few days. My Sister was called Shannon right up until she was registered - all her first xmas cards are 'to Shannon' lol Shes called Sophie now. My Uncle was going to be called Shirley-Ann if he was a girl so we all call him it to wind him up

Thank god they didn't - I was a fat child and would have spent my childhood called Billie Bunter!!

My mum and dad always joked that they would call their first born after St Krysogenous (I expect I spelt that wrong but it it a real name - honest!) Luckily for me they got a cat first .

I would have been called Lars had I been a boy - yes, like the little polar bear! Bo was also strongly considered apparently.
