Sunshine is unexpected - I have the Wrong Clothes. Oh well. I'll have to be slightly scruffy and comfortable instead of smart and boiled alive.

The quiz was a bit of a disaster as one third of our team of 6 were away, but as always we had a good laugh.

I did that when we went to the caravan Helen. Everyone was sunning themselves and I was dressed in a jumper and trousers. I ended up using a sheet as a sarong.

Had a lovely time yesterday. Theatre was different but enjoyable, food was delicious, company was excellent.

Pleased the quiz night went well despite depleted team numbers.

Today will be travelling home.

Am finally home (about an hour ago) from meet up. Had a lovely time.

Sounds like DGD had a good time on her Iceland trip Apricot.

Tonight’s plan may include a bath, it will definitely involve an early night.

I think I should join you with an early night letus but I'm feeling more awake now, so I bet I won't <eye rolls at self>. Am watching Take That at the BBC on iPlayer, always been a little meh about Everything Changes, but Jason Orange is looking fiiiiiiiine so it's going up in my estimation by the second 😁

Shame a few were missing at the quiz apricot, plus it's always sad when things come to an end. Love the Misty pics, I'm sure she'll climb it soon, at least she seems to be using it for scratching!

I think we're all in need of an early night and bath. I got home about the same time as LetUs. Stopped off in LargeTown on route and did some shopping, which included new jeans and a pester-free browser in a bookshop - happy days

I took DH to the golf club this morning as it’s the last golfing day and he wants to have a drink with his friends after. I’m currently waiting for a phone call to go and collect him. Goodness knows what state he’ll be in.

It's been cloudy all day, but quite warm - ideal for gardening really. The ground is utterly solid though - it's so dry No washing was done, just digging and weeding.

Goodness knows what state things will be in at work. I’d rather not find out to be honest. Needs must however and I suppose I was fortunate that I wasn’t actually ill with the Covid.

Spent much of yesterday gardening, so my back is a bit tired. Put in my new plants (thanks helen 😊) which took longer than expected owing to needing to clear sodding builder's rubble buried in the flower bed.

FancyCat is still having leg issues so I think a trip to the vet is in order.

On the faf front - decided to start watching Heroes last night. Santi sounds very different!

Realised I haven’t posted in a while, not much going on here. New bike is great but I’m so out of shape!

Afternoon. We were at the golf club until 7 o'clock. They were all a bit sozzled, but they'd had a good day. DH has been going there for 36 years. He starts his new club tomorrow, but without many of his friends although two of them are joining up with him.

Hope work has gone alright for everywench.
