francagoestohollywood · 21/11/2007 21:28

Yes, I want to watch la famiglia Bradfrod. There are dvds on sale in the USA, so in a different system that it's not watchable here. I think there is an AOL website where you can watch episodes for free, but non riesco a scaricarli con il mio mac... grrrrrrrrrr
FURIA (mi metteva un po' in ansia furia)

Its still bloody cold here, although sun is shining, we've got the stuffa a legno on so nice and warm
well good news ladies, after almost giving up on a) my dream of living in italy and b) dh's dream of bringing up his kids in his nice, safe home village we have survived at the 11th hour. We have 15 euro in our pockets and dh had just been offered a job, in regola, 900 euro a month for first year, rising every year working in the office of a vivaio near Marsala ! I know 900 euro is not alot but when u've got nothing .......... I just want to be able to live here and let me kids grow up here !!
So Cheers !!!

francagoestohollywood · 21/11/2007 21:45

hotHELL · 21/11/2007 22:04

A bit disappointing the end of Candy. Not clear what has happened to Terence.

And now Voglio vederti danzare di Battiato.

francagoestohollywood · 21/11/2007 22:09

terence got engaged with the actress who lost her legs to save his life but in the last episodes candy reads the newspapers that says he has separated ! I've just watched the first episode in japanese!!!!!

He married her out of pity? WTF? At least in the last episode Remi foud out that his real mum was a millionaire, la signora Milligan. Now i am listening to Cerco un centro di gravita permanente.

hotHELL · 21/11/2007 22:16

Battiato live even now is an old guy, is fantastic. I am on ecstasy here.

francagoestohollywood · 21/11/2007 22:26

I saw him live a teatro in the early 90s. very good. When I was 12 I went to Paris with my parents by car and we listened to cerco un centro di gravita' permanente cassetta the whole time. I remember my dad singign "il senso del possesso che fu pre-alessandrino".
Accidentally that was the same holiday when I read Lessico famigliare for the first time. that was a very important holiday .
I also love battiano because many of his songs are in Nanni Moretti's movies. Have I told you already how much I love moretti's movies. I might have.

Have finished a translation which arrived this am, it was very short, but still pennies coming in.

francagoestohollywood · 22/11/2007 14:30

Just had a major litigata and he always manages to talk me into thinking I'm unreasonable. I feel he is not doing anything about this removal/ moving countries/selling houses, etc etc. He thinks I don't take pride into doing something from start to finish. .
