I thought you'd understand bran. I could not believe all the interests though although is mainly women.

DH was not like this. maybe it's true what Fondant said, maybe he's preparing before DD2... not sure though.

Days like yesterday make me want to go back to work full time in a flash!

What I resent the most is the fact that I am trying hard and I am being really fair. One thing I am not is lazy (except for today [) and pisses me off no end when it is implied I do nothing all day.

not miserable anymore as I know I am right !!!!

francagoestohollywood · 10/01/2008 14:57

which thread??????
Brangelina, we reached a compromise and watched the end of to catch a thief (which I must have watched at least 7 times...) god grace kelly is beautiful.
Today I have enrolled ds to scuola elementare, and they will wait for the certificato delle vaccinazioni (have just discovered that they haven't been immunized to epatite b which is obbligatoria in italy).
and also rang a Caf for the certificazione isee for application to scuola materna comunale. che casino!!
but I might go to a japanise restaurant with some friends tonight.
haven't sorted out sky yet, still trying to get hold of fastweb, anyway...

oh franca I envy your new life with plenty of babysitters around... so that you can say: maybe I'll go to a japanese rest tonight instead of 'we are going to a japanese rest we have booked a month ago etc

this reminds me I must call MIL to arrange DD sleepover on DH's birthday 4 weeks away...

Brangelina · 10/01/2008 15:33

Pippi, I haven't been out for ages. We have a concert we want to go to in Feb so am looking for babysitters for then. I think I'll just have to ask at the nursery. DP wanted his ds to do but luckily has seen sense at last.

PippiCalzelunghe · 10/01/2008 16:05

oh Dh is the same he's take DD everywhere with us. it is always me who has to organise for time without DD.

it's funnt this MN. on one thread you dh can sound like a total chauvinist pig and on another like the most caring father. I guess there's some truth in both.

Rosa · 10/01/2008 19:50

Pippi I haven't seen your thread but whatever it is sending you lots of virtual hugs and hope things get better,
Bran - Yes it is a privato asilo. It is known as one of the better ones as well - requests are always high. They have good themes of the year- this year its food - they go to the vege markets a panificio etc etc. ( as for a place in a public sia nido o asilio not a hope )
Our commercialista was thinking about this one but he opted for another one as he thought it was a bit affolato.(sp)
SIL went to a presentazione for a Elementare - Now I liked that place they take 21 kids a year and first goes to those of stradario and there were 35 mums ex stradario so she is thinking there will be no hope !
Franca how was your meal ???

PippiCalzelunghe · 11/01/2008 09:39

buongiorno a tutte (buon un cavolo as it's raining cats and dogs in here)!!!

feeling better today. after MY thread I know I am not unreasonable and will have a chat with DH at the week-end (again).

any news?

hhell????????

Rosa · 11/01/2008 13:54

Grey dull and mistyish here not nice have washing round everywhere I want a bigger house with anywhere to put washing when it rains ...Not getting a tumble drier as electric costs too much here !

Hope your talk goes well Pippi

francagoestohollywood · 11/01/2008 16:13

Hi Pippi,
I hope your chat goes well too.
The only babysitter I have is my mum, and that's because we are still at my parents, having not had the time to tidy up the house like I wanted (children always around, and lots of errands). And believe it or not it was the first time I went out since we got back! (guess who is going out tonight? my parents they are going to la scala). the food was mediocre by the way, but it was good to spend time with the girls!

same old story franca...

francagoestohollywood · 11/01/2008 17:10

(on that note, I can actally confess that I'm slightly p+++ off with dh who is working in the uk while I'm here running from an office to another, getting all the docs sorted, plus to children running riot...?)

PippiCalzelunghe · 11/01/2008 17:21

it is a bit annoying that it is always them who are without the dc, isn't it?

francagoestohollywood · 11/01/2008 18:37

I rember that when ds was 8 months we agred that he would have looked after him 1 morning a week, while I had some me time, either translating or just having 3 hrs on my own. he didn't last long. hence ds went to nursery (two mornings a week) at 15 minths...

OP posts:
Rosa · 11/01/2008 19:54

when he is at home with dd he plays and she has a great time . WHen its just me I am expected to play, clean , tidy etc etc ...Its the same all over !
raining now and dh ( out with the boys) has said he is out in the morning as well !!!
