Cam, in the flurry of excitement, I lost the news that your GD has a half plaster on to protect the hairline fracture. I'm glad she has been X rayed and something has been done for her. What a fortnight you've had!
Crankley, no worries. It was a fast changing situation. In fact, my head was spinning.
It has been a right old day and a half, hasn't it? But we are here, still in touch with each other, and that's the main thing. Whatever might be said on other threads, the fact is that the Breakfast Club is - and was - a place of good humour, courtesy, support and friendly chat.
We managed to reach over 300 pages, over 6000 posts, with roughly 60 posters on board. There was never a cross word, no deletions, no complaints and no interventions ever required from Admin. Our record is clean.
So this is what I propose. We re-open for business tomorrow morning as usual with an OTD. Hopefully, Tracy will have mustered the butlers to provide breakfast as usual. For the moment, we carry on as we have always done - this will give us time to catch our breath and work out what to do next.
All Clunkers, Penguins, Dorisers and Crafters welcome. (A hint would be nice 
). There are about 33 of us on here and 31 in the red place, although at least a dozen are signed up to both. That gives us roughly a head count of roughly 50 between the two.
I think we will reach the 1k limit on this thread within a week, but a week will give us a breathing space while we decide the way forward.
Hope that's OK with everyone.
I am aware that this thread will be watched with interest by external eyes for the tiniest scrap of unacceptable behaviour but we Clunkers have never engaged in that sort of behaviour anyway so all we have to do is be our normal selves.
All will be well, one way or another.
