Good afternoon, Clunkers!

Welcome to the Breakfast Club where the kettle is permanently on, the drinks flow and the snacks are both self-replenishing and calorie-free.

We start each day with a look at history and a tribute to a brave or inspiring woman. Mostly though, we just chat randomly about current affairs, recipes, life in lockdown, literature, music and anything else that comes into our heads.

Veteran Clunkers welcome. Anyone else who wants to join in the chat - sense of humour essential! - welcome.

I really shouldn’t read that thread about us, they are batshit crazy with their imagination, the things that they are describing on there are really unbelievable, it certainly is not how I remember our old place.

Hi everyone, can I join? I was mainly lurking on the other place, loving the OTD s, always, the pleasant chatter and dreaming of butlers bringing me breakfasts, coffees and asking about preferred pizza toppings.

I also followed your thread @DivGirl and wished you and Div-tot so well. I never posted because I felt so inadequate and everyone phrased things so much more eloquently.

I was hippopotamus on the other place and I am on the penguin thread here. I would hate to loose you all.
