Morning. Or not. How do I manage to get up 1.5 hours before work starts and still end up eating breakfast in front of the screen and only just dressed in time? FFS.

Didn't manage to watch Strike last night - DS up too late and then I had migraine hangover and went to bed as well!

There was another bonkers dream last night, but I don't remember any now - other than no HBFs.

Dentist was fine thanks - just a check up on the root canal work I had done. All seemed well on the x-ray, now summoning up the energy to mow the lawn.....

I was lucky enough to get three new jigsaws for my birthday. A normal Harry Potter one (that DS1 chose and bought for me himself awwwww), a 3D image one, and a map one with famous people on it that NiceColleague got me. It’s that last one I’m going to start.

Anyway, FFS Mumsnet - I wondered what was going on. There hadn't been a post since 9:30 last night when I posted my message at lunchtime.

Glad to hear that dentist went well. I have a triage phone call from mine tomorrow about my cavity. I strongly suspect that he's going to say that it doesn't hurt so they won't do anything.

And now I need to cut DS' hair before we have tea - I'm on a deadline!

Have had family argument day out and it was very enjoyable, but I'm bloody knackered. I fell asleep in the car coming home and now I feel completely spaced out.

I killed a fly this morning and fed it to the flytrap. It was suitably grateful.

DH is cooking soup again. I can't watch, I hate him in the kitchen. It smells glorious though.

When it comes to a saving of £10, I'm afraid budgeting wins here.

Had a lovely bath and read some of my book. Watched some of a programme called Discovering Dance On Film which was glorious. I’ve recorded it. We’re now on ep3 of Two Weeks To Live and Sylvie from TM has popped up.

Oh yes - Two weeks... still need to catch up on that one. We've been watching All Creatures which DS is very much enjoying. DH is going "these are the wrong actors" because when I said it was a 'new' series, he thought I meant they were re-showing the original New series included Maime from TM and Diana Rigg
