BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:04

It makes a big dif doesn't it Reid. So it never wears off. Can't remember what was wrong with DD1 when I did it, but she was really ill, and I got thru so much cos was dooing it for 4 or 5 days. Got a bit worried about it, but then she improved.

fransmom · 21/09/2007 21:04

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 21:04

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:05

OK then Shosha, sorry. Thought you'd caught the p key by mistake. Was only teasing.

fransmom · 21/09/2007 21:05

munz · 21/09/2007 21:07

(I thought calpol was only to be used for 3 nights and neurofen 1 if under 1?)

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:08

let me get this right,

neurofen should be given every 6 hours? but doc says it can go... Calpol, then 2 hours later, neuro, 2 hours later, calpol, then 2 hours later neuro again and so on...

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 21:08

No but I did go for a P

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:08

She was over 3 yo. But that is why I was getting abit worried.

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:09

hop everything goes ok munz ((()))

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 21:09

I was told yo could give calpol 2 hours after Ibrufen yes, going to google and see if I can find anything, shall return.

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:09

Oh feck. Reid how often does it say for it on the bottle. Am now questioning myself.
I think it's neuro every 6. You best check.

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:10

ds is over 1 too!

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:10

BYE MUNZ.

Hope the twunt regrets leaving you and you find someone who isn't controlling and mean.

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 21:11

googled and came up with this! www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=138&threadid=8365&stamp=030523225635

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:12

lol BoM, dont worry about it! i have only done it a couple of times, ds has felt better for it. He is just as gorgeous and clever as ever so it hasnt done him any harm!

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:14

lol Reid. Don't think it would do much damage anyhow. I didn't dose her all the time after the first couple of nights in the daytime, but did before bed and if she woke at night. Had her propped up on pillows and everything. Bless her, she could barely breathe.

I hate when they're ill./

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:15

yeah we're the same with ds too, its night when its the worst! he only has 1 dose of anything during the day tbh

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:16

RIGHT.............I had better go. Nearly bedtime. FGS bedtime at 10 ish. Fell like a pensioner
Can't cope with these 5am starts every day. Roll on sunday and a lie in.

GREAT to have the bar (and teashop) back in business

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:17

would have been helpful to know that you can give calpol and neuro together as a 'super painkiller' his first night was awful, i'm sure that would have made a big difference!
