hello Mars, i dont think we have ever spoken before, i'm reidy very pleased to meet you. Can i get you a refil?

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 20:53

SW didnt work fore, WW is better can eat anything, as long as you count it.

RustyBear · 21/09/2007 20:53

Shosha - I think she was about to go into the garden & eat it.....
Try this instead Marsy...

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:53

It's the medised I like and calpol actually. Calprofen is revolting tho. DD1 wont take it, I had to mix it half and half with the calpol to get her to take it.

munz · 21/09/2007 20:54

bom - I had it deleted. tbh. wasn't sure if he was reading them/MIL was - not so bothered now - i'd say it in RL just the same as I would on here! lol.

s - that can't be R surely? tescos brufen?

reid - I give DS - (not sure if you're emtn to thou) calpol about 4 and then the nuerofen (sp) at 6.30 for bed, seems to settle him. esp with extra milk (as he doesn't eat when teething)

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:54

RUSTY, that was border;line vom inducing

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 20:55

YUCK!!!!! medised!!!??? it takes my breath away its that strong, tastes like a really cheap vodka. Bloody awful stuff!!!

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 20:55

long time no speak!

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 20:55

EEEEWWWWWCCCHHHHHH Marsy (DGD used to do that)

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:56

Bloomin Babies and their teeth

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 20:57

p Tesco in packets, always some in my first Aid bag, and as BOM said, if really bad piggy back with calpol, every two hours., find if you do it all day it helps them through the night.

munz · 21/09/2007 20:57

ah did WW pre DS - but how do you count gravey - as in when I do beef stew or soemthing how do you do points for that?

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:58

REID I prefer expensive Vodka, but needs must when the devil vomits in your kettle

If only Gibbon were around to appreciate that one.

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 20:58

munz, i have heard that somewhere before, about alternating Neurofen and calpol so they can have them every 2 hours! someone on mn told me (cant remember who) but when i hinted at it to the doc a while ago, they said

'yes you can alternate it, calpol then 4 hours later neurofen'

that made me think maybe i shouldnt be doing it! - but i still do it when he is really bad tbh

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 20:59

.5 per teaspoon, I make it 1 point for gravy in stew, or look up on line a resyrant stew and use those points

MarsLady · 21/09/2007 20:59

now that's what I call a worm!

I don't think I could do a bottle of Baileys...... oops! Finished it!

munz · 21/09/2007 20:59

lol@ BOM!

lulumama · 21/09/2007 20:59

am going to disappear in a bit, DH out for the night and i want to blitz the upstairs, do some laundry and have a bath

lovely to see the barrr so busy,

kisses one and all x

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 20:59

It was me told you Reidie, and it was my Doc who told me too!!!

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:59

Reidm, I think it's cos they can have Calpol every 4 hrs, but Neurofen every 6. Hence the 4 hr gap. If you shouldn't be doing it the doc would have said. My doc gave the nod for it and I trust her completely.

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:00

i'm being thick but... what is 'p Tesco in packets?'

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:00

Mars, if you're going to eat a worm at least make it the one at the bottom of a Tequila bottle

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 21:01

Reid, it's Shosha's bad typing skills

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 21:02

ah i knew it was a very wise one who told me (otherwise i wouldnt still be doing it!)
