So far she has been okay once she goes off, but takes AGES to settle and has to have Medised before she will. Calgel and powders are not cuttin git (no pun intended)

fransmom · 21/09/2007 20:40

((((((((((((munz)))))))))))))) men can be such bastards

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 20:40

MarsLady · 21/09/2007 20:41

HIC!

I'll have another please! Same again barkeep!

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:41

Oh Munz, he was probably being mean hoping you'd tell him to feck off first

Glad you're okay-ish. My sisters recent exH also went quickly into knob status.

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 20:42

oh munz, sorry (())

get a straw, i'm sure BoM will share her drink!

BoM, ds wont take medised, we have to put tin his juice, but then its too diluted so doesnt have the same kick. He has been really suffering at night. Poor thing!

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:42

Bloody Hell Reidie......I'll never get up in the morning.
Or should I say the middle of the fecking night

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:43

Hmm, it should work the same, how much do you mix it with ??

HAve you tried a syringe or something???

lulumama · 21/09/2007 20:44

pops head round the door, sees it is too busy and leaves again>>

REIDmylips · 21/09/2007 20:45

mix it with 4oz but then he wont always drink 4oz in one go iyswim. He refuses to take it 'straight' whether off a spoon or sirynge (sp) it makes him sick! he will take any other medicine but just hates the taste of medised. dont really blame him, it is vile stuff!!!

munz · 21/09/2007 20:46

well watch this space- it will get worse b4 it gets better i'm sure of that much.

on the teething front, DS cut 2 more yesterday poor lamb he's really screaming in agony now with them. the neurofen works quite well for him thou.

ahy BOM - budge up i've got a straw!

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 20:47

i lost the weight with WW, gone from a 22 to a 16 now, stuck for a few weeks, but discovered is cos I wasnt eating a proper breakfast, now have porridge and toast and its coming off again, would love to get back to a 8, but think a 12 is more realistic.

Munz, remember Im just over the RD if you need me.

munz · 21/09/2007 20:47

have you tried the neuofen stuff? I find that's v good for DS - and tbh I save the medsed for when it's really really diar iycwim.

(and with the syringe now he'll suck it all out but when he was younger we had to do 1ml at a time of it.)

lulumama · 21/09/2007 20:47

hello reidie, how goes it?

MarsLady · 21/09/2007 20:48

BandofMothers · 21/09/2007 20:48

Haven't seen a thread about it if there is one.

Reid, oh dear. Try a mix of calpol and calprofen, as they are not both paracetamol based they can have both together which has quite a good effect

Shoshable · 21/09/2007 20:49
