Everyone's welcome

Does anybody know what Anthony Clare died of?

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 17:50

Apparently she had a large portion of lasagne at nursery today... I have organic salsiccie for them tonight, but while ds will eat cavolfiore with them, she'll only have raw tomatoes.
Porridge? I'm impressed. I find that porridge is probably one of the few things on earth I find inedible. ds has coco pops for breakfast (bad mother alert).
Well spezzatino is good rosa, given you can probably "hide" some vegetables there, like onion carrot and celary for soffritto no? strangely mine don't like spezzatino, which instead was amongst my fav food as a child with cipolle in umido.
CALI yes, I'd love to take the dc to celebrate Halloween at your's! Are you coming to this side of the world for christmas?

ciao. no vermi here! yuppi. bit of sudicream and everything is fine, it seems. pippi is a drama queen!!!

will check emails now. I am resting on the sofa as I have cramps and spotting. an excuse for letting dh sort out dinner (take away no doubt )!

dd eats anything. new childminder is greek and has given me the new menu for the next 6 weeks: I wish I was going there!

PippiCalzelunghe · 30/10/2007 19:24

nothing franca. why? is it the email address i gave mumsnet that i have to check, isn't it?

hotHELL · 30/10/2007 19:48

Hope you are feeling better Pippi!

Can I have the recipe for spezzattino? We had salmon tonight, ds didn't want to eat it, eventually he did as i told him he wouldn't get his dessert. I was not going to let some effing expensive salmon go in the bin!

PippiCalzelunghe · 30/10/2007 19:50

I got it and have replied.

ricetta per spezzatino this way too please?

PippiCalzelunghe · 30/10/2007 19:54

dd so very whiny these days... well annoying. she must have learnt it from some other kids... does my head in.
dh I want to kill tonight. we are having the garage built and for the past two evening all he does for the first hour is looking down the hole they've dug!!! WTF!!??? while DD needs to be put to bed and us fed and the dog taken out etc. everything in his own bloody time!!! I cannot even order any food as he did not even have the grace of telling me what he wants and he's putting dd to bed. aarrghhhhh!!!

PippiCalzelunghe · 30/10/2007 20:20

are you watching sarah beeny?

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 20:29

Dd, vomited again (she vomited on sunday, I thought she was carsick, as she often is) . she drank lots of orange juice, than ate 1 (maybe less sausage) and a bit of tomato (kept reminding her to eat and I thought che stava facendo i capricci). Then offered uva, which is usually her fav, took her in the living room and she wouldn't eat it and then vomited, in the fruitbowl!
so maybe she's unwell. But no temperature. she had some crackers before going to bad. I'm worried.
How are you feeling pippi?

OP posts:
hotHELL · 30/10/2007 20:38

Franca soudns like one of those bugs....not nice.
Pippi, don't you find it hard to look after dd, dog, have a job, have house refurbished, etc. Would all drive me up thewall. Yes, I am watching my favourite property porn telly program. Love it?
By the way do you think house prices are going to go down?

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 20:48

Do you really think it's one of those bugs? I'd be relieved in a way. She seems fine, apart from very small appetite and 2 vomiting episodes in 3 days...
Well they say the market is flat. we had a few viewings of the h ouse (which is lovely ), but no offers.

Well, what else can it be? Hopefully you will get a good night.
Dp is back early from his job, he resigned as they were about to fire him, so we can try for this bloody baby. I am a bit bored by the idea though.
Why all the mystery around clare' s death? Dp wanders se si e' ucciso...No hopes for us if he did.

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 21:02

well, it could be anything, have I never told you that I'm the most apprehensive person in the world?
The mistery around your dp's job is deepening. How many jobs has he got? I don't believe you are getting bored about having a baby. But I agree that the idea of starting to try for a baby can be a bit angosciante.

OP posts:
hotHELL · 30/10/2007 21:03

Angosciante sums it up.

hotHELL · 30/10/2007 21:05

Italian women are always apprehnesive about their kids. I am not apprehensive about ds, but about everything else. Can we bring pictures of the kids at the meetup or is that terribly naugh?

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 21:06

. can also be quite good fun.

OP posts:
hotHELL · 30/10/2007 21:06

lol at the idea of angosciante sex, sounds like soooo much fun!
Watching kitchen nightmares, ideal for mumsnetting.

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 21:07

no, lets bring pictures. I'm apprehensive healthwise, a lot, I always think the worst. But I'm not as bad as my friends in Italy, some of them have 3 paediatricians! I seem very laid back compared to them..

OP posts:
francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 21:07

I menat yes, lets bring pictures.

OP posts:
hotHELL · 30/10/2007 21:12

3 pediatri? lol

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 21:18

yes:

  1. pediatra della asl
  2. pediatra privato
  3. pediatra privato omeopatico. roba da pazzi I say.
OP posts:
hotHELL · 30/10/2007 21:22

i am off to bed, too much shouting on the gordon ramsay's show, the man is very attractive though, in a rough and ready sort of way.

Brangelina · 30/10/2007 21:25

OMG, I know someone like that! I also know someone who ended up seeing 6 or 7 pediatri until she found someone who agreed with her diagnosis and gave her the antibiotici she wanted.

Here in wondrous Monza people are shocked because we only have 1 pediatra, and from the mutua too.

So about your meet up, going to some cool café and eating cake in swinging London.

francagoestohollywood · 30/10/2007 21:26

hothell, we def have different taste in men. I cannot stand GS. I can't tolerate that a man his age has that hairstyle. just imagine him in fron of the mirror: "where should I position this bit of hair?" mmmm
I'm off to watch flight of the conchords. ciao
