Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF.
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

I think I could do with an early night and a good night’s sleep instead of staying up till stupid o’clock, taking a while to get to sleep and then not exactly feeling refreshed when I get up. And as has been pointed out, if it’s not an HBF causing the lack of sleep, it’s not worth it.

So I shall head to the hayloft.

I nearly put 'the most gorgeous things since Aramis's first appearance as a monk in series 3' - he was faf in that, and on a big screen it was quite overwhelming

I think I slept a bit better so that’s good. Going to do the exercisething this morning as long as it stays dry.

DS2 is already on FIFA and is giving it the full commentary. It’s too early for that.

Exercisething done. Washing nearly finished and DS2 has been a mega ratbag already.

Evening. Bit of a late start to the day - woke up from a bonkers anxiety dream (missed flight, trying to get a different one, trying to find car) then fell asleep again back into the same dream.. Why does that never happen in a dream that involves FAF?! Then straight into work and a team meeting and, and, and, and helping DS with school stuff as well. I'm a bit pooped. Today's bike ride was a trudge. Oh - and then there was the whole blow-torching the chicken house to eal with the mite problem, and then taking a nit comb to my hair to get rid of the mites that fell into it.

Positive stuff LetUs - the HBFs think you're positively marvellous. or depending on your typo of choice...

I’m recording Mrs America as it’s not DH’s thing at all. Saw a trailer for a new BBC4 thing called .... I can’t remember what it’s called and I’ve been googling but can’t find it. It’s a French sort of sci-fi drama and looked really good!

Found it - it’s called The Last Wave and is a supernatural thriller.

Today I am going to buy some new trainers. I’m off to one of those little independent shops that’s been trading for a million years and where the staff —hopefully— know what they’re talking about.

So I’ll be leaving DS2 to get on with his schoolwork independently without any reminding. Mmhmm.

So - who knew that you can get DIY filling kits from Boots! Though dentistry is not a lockdown skill I was hoping to achieve

I knew that Helen! I saw them when I was looking for dental glue or similar when a crown fell out last year I think it was. Did you have Smooth FM on in the background whilst carrying out the dentistry? I believe it’s compulsory.

We finally got round to ep 5 of The Luminaries last night. I like the plot and the characters, but why oh why can't they show it in chronological order. I can't make out what happened when. Some comment I read said it looked as though they'd dropped the script on the floor and picked it up in the wrong order.

DH did apologise for the phone incident. He said he didn't know why I had a compass in the bottom row when I wouldn't use it and WhatsApp would be better there. I pointed out that the compass is actually Safari which is a web browser and I do use it on the odd occasion.

I agree with you re Luminaries Apricot. A sort of flash forward at the beginning and then a how they got to that point and then the conclusion.

We have been playing monopoly. I am bankrupt. This is a good thing because I no longer need to sit on the floor feeling very uncomfortable. I am reclining on a HBF sofa now There is much huffing and puffing from DH and DS (the latter of whom should be in bed, )

I would like a speciality compass on my phone to point me in the direction of HBFs. That would be a very useful compass.

Haven't actually tried the DIY filling yet. There's a cavity opened up right next to another tooth and I'm worried I'll glue them both together and make it worse when it comes to being properly fixed I was also trying to finish watching the last National Theatre offering (Les Blancs) before it was replaced by the Deep Blue Sea tonight. Then it was tea.
