Me and DH are still undecided on names. Am 32 weeks and at this rate DS2 will be called baby XXXX for years lol!!!

We have a small list, some I love but DH hates, some he loves and I hate.

So far we have...

Callum
Reece
Leon
Eden
Troy

DS and DDs have welsh and irish names if that helps any.. thanks

Like Callum.

There was a female character in an American soap called Eden.

notasheep · 16/09/2007 22:19

Idris

bobsmum · 16/09/2007 22:19

Leon I think stands out the most - v nice.

I like Callum.

But dh works with a Troy and says he finds it difficult not to ask him about the Thunderbirds!

Too many Reeces/Rhys about atm.

And I've only heard Eden as a girl's name.

Does that help?

Will have a ponder on some more Celtic names.

JeremyVile · 16/09/2007 22:20

Sacha

I'm going to keep saying it on these threads.

One day someone will love it...

MrsThierryHenry · 16/09/2007 22:20

How's about Cameron?

Spandex · 16/09/2007 22:21

Eden is a great name. I've heard it used on boys.

Troy is a bit daft, I think. Maybe on a man it's fine but on a child I think it's v. weighty.

Reece is v. popular at the mo which doesn't really matter unless you care about there being several other kids in the class with the same name.

SoMuchToBits · 16/09/2007 22:23

Well if you have one Welsh and one Irish name, you really ought to go for Scottish this time, so .....

Callum
Cameron
Hamish
Fraser
Alistair
Gregor
Rory
Euan

There must be loads more...

bobsmum · 16/09/2007 22:23

I went to school with 2 Sachas both with double barrelled surnames. (not Ali G though )

Jas · 16/09/2007 22:23

DS was Boy for 6 weeks once he was born, and then we called him Leon. I love it

bobsmum · 16/09/2007 22:23

coleyboy · 16/09/2007 22:24

How about?

Ivo
Euan
Archie
Alun
Jonah
Ellijah
Joshua

Choosing a name is such a responsibility isn't it?

coleyboy · 16/09/2007 22:25

Oh, I love Gregor. DP hated it though

ladylush · 16/09/2007 22:26

Callum is gaellic for Malcom apparently. Put me off when I heard that.

My ds is Dylan-Jack (Dylan means son of the wave/sea, and we live by the seaside), I'm hoping he will grown up to be a champion surfer!

lomondgal · 16/09/2007 22:32

Sorry to hear that, so sad How about Connor?

sparklygothkat · 16/09/2007 22:33

sparklygothkat · 16/09/2007 22:36

and it took weeks to decide on DS' name, he was nameless for about a week after his birth. I can choose girls names easily but boys always have me stratching my head

OP posts:

Kyle

Ewan

All Scottish names
(I had a passing fancy for Hamilton when choosing DS2's name)

lomondgal · 16/09/2007 22:40
