I’ve still not done the ironing. I mean to but by the time I get in and then have my dinner and then see to homework with DS2, I run out of steam - no pun intended.

It was frosty this morning - the car had to be de-iced. And again after work I put n the windscreen cover when I got home.

Sole control of the remote is a wonderful thing. I watched the first part of Catherine the Great this evening. She's very impressed with Potemkin, which is odd, because he's not remotely FAF - which is disappointing. Still - it's Hele Mirren, so it' a good watch. And def. not suitable for DS, who was busy on Minecraft.

I'm getting lots of black Friday emails Wicked, but there's nothing I want so, meh.

DS has given me a load of DGS2's toys to get rid of and I've spent all afternoon sorting and doing research on them. I get really excited about making money, even if it's not for me.

DH is his usual non-communicative self. I've had one short message since he's been gone, telling me they were just about to arrive at his friend's place.

About car de-icing. We always used to pour hot (not boiling) water over the windscreen, never had any trouble, none of that scraping. Don't take my word for it though, just in case.

I can 100% say that after this morning’s happiness and excitement, the day went downhill at an alarming rate, and was rounded off with me leaving my phone at work. What a complete prat.

Yes- the hot water one does work - except when it'ts very cold and it just freezes on the windscreen again and there's always the trauma that your windscreen is going to crack from the temperature change.

I should go to the hayloft too...

Our cold weather appears to be moving away - is it heading to you Wicked?

Having said that, it’s important to keep as warm as possible so I suggest we stay in the Tav, undertaking vigorous activities with HBFs to really keep the blood flowing.

I'm not sure what these vigorous activities are LetUs? I'll ask Athos to give me a practical, hands-on demonstration in the hayloft. It's for the best... And I'm tired this morning and a bit slow on the uptake, so he'll probably have to do several demonstrations. Especially since you say there are activities - so more than one to get the hang of.

Yes I'm enjoying having the remote Fancy. I've been watching Earth from Space in the evenings which we recorded ages ago and I don't think DH will stay awake through. Fascinating.
