Worky-work-work-work... It's all very tedious. the air con and BoringOfficeJob was fab though.

I'd quite like to join MiniMiniApricot in the sprinkler. Actually, I'd rather join the HBFs there, but just the sprinkler by itself is fine.

I stuck DS' water bottle in the freezer to cool it down this morning. Left it there all day. Oops! Fortunately it wasn't full.

We had storms here early hours. We all slept through them.

Too hot already. We could set up the sprinklers from Apricot’s at the Tav.

We had a massive storm for half an hour at about 4am [bleary-eyed] and DS was in bed with us for most of the night for reasons that escape me. I managed to escape at one point and saw a bit of the storm out of window, but mostly I was pinned down by the limpet DS and just counting between lightning and thunder. It's still cloudy and a bit damp, but heating up...

Hope that Fancy got some thunder too...

Ought to get dressed really... laters.

PS - why is my work lying outside and mashed to a pup by heavy rain?!

We had a fab storm here last night thanks helen, it rather put paid to my plans of getting to sleep at a more reasonable time, but was fun to watch - soooo much lightning.

Need to get moving - have a work do straight after work so need to leave on time. Still, at least the air con will be icy cold will keep me cool. Laters

Agreed. We should all stay in the tav. unfortunately I have to work/pack/shop/tidy/clean out chickens/have meltdown at the lack of any other sod in the house helping.

We have curtains shut, loft hatch open, etc etc and I am sitting in front of a USB-powered desk fan. Which is as close to bliss as I'm going to get today.

Morning. Sodding hot already - I have a few days off work so am not able to enjoy the air con. Was planning to spend it pottering in the garden but that is not so appealing now. May just try catching up with all the household admin instead as I can do that sitting down in teh coolest room.
