And wenches can use their imaginations to make the temperature rise and anything else they can think of.

Afternoon.

It was nice here this morning so I did the food shopping and went a walk around the block, just for a nose to see what's happening in the neighbourhood. Sod all really. Hmm It's raining now.

That's a pain about the glasses LetUs, nothing's ever right these days.

DD managed to see the dentist and has antibiotics. I don't know where she's going with this tooth, it's already had a deep clean and a root canal. Confused

Been out with friends at an Irish pub, had lovely food, wine and an irish coffee Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 23/09/2019 20:07

Evening. It's been nice here today - even managed to get some washing out on the line and dry. Shock That was about the height of my exciting life today Hmm

Glad to hear that MiniApricot has drugs, though Confused about the tooth's past history Sad

Hope LetUs has got her glasses altered, that Fancy hasn't had too much work on, and that Wicked isn't too pissed on Irish coffee Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 23/09/2019 20:29

Oh - and The Coat is back Grin (plus HBF, of course)

Oh, they're filming Lethal White? Brilliant!

LetUsPrey · 23/09/2019 21:15

Evening wenches.

I reckon that even when wenches are doing chores, etc, we’re doing it in full Wench Mode and are therefore exciting and amazing. And if I tell myself that enough times, perhaps I’ll believe it Grin

Got glasses sorted but I’ll only definitely know when I’ve had them on for a while. Dog-a-like was there though so that was nice.

Ouch re DD’s ongoing tooth problems Apricot. Hope she gets it sorted quickly.

I know what you mean about the ending of Poldark Fancy.

That sounds like a cracking day out Wicked.

Oooo at that picture Helen! How many wenches will fit under that coat?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 23/09/2019 21:56

Just the one LetUs - my elbows are very pointy Wink And you're quote right about the chores. Though I'm not sure exactly how I can clear out DS' bedroom in Wench Mode Hmm

LetUsPrey · 24/09/2019 07:30

Morning wenches.

I’ll have to get back to you on that one Helen.

Quite dark this morning. We have thundery rain forecast

I need to have a big tidy up tonight. I’m sure there’s stuff in the Everest of paperwork that I should be dealing with. Hopefully I won’t find anything that I should have already dealt with.

FancyFancy · 24/09/2019 08:52

We have that forecast as well letus - not holding my breath! Think I'm going to get soggy going into work.........

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/09/2019 08:55

We also have mentions of thunder, but it's just mizzly-drizzly here atm.

LetUs - I'll see your 'Everest of paperwork' and raise you DS' bedroom floor Shock

ApricotCrush · 24/09/2019 18:22

Evening.

We've had forecast of thunder storms for three days now, but I haven't heard anything. It has rained all day today though. We've got a ford a couple of miles down the road which is normally passable, but someone goes through it EVERY TIME we get heavy rain and gets stuck. Not DH though, he would never do that, oh no. Shock

Grin at Everest of paperwork, our study looks like that.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 24/09/2019 19:50

Evening wenches. I made an executive decision and am ignoring Mount Paperwork tonight.

You mean where you think MiniHelen’s bedroom floor is. DS1’s bedroom has a floordrobe.

No forecast thunder here either. Fucksake. Lots of rain though. Lots and lots of rain.

I’m watching The Repair Shop. It’s such a lovely programme.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/09/2019 20:35

Evening. I have unearthed DS' bedroom floor and even hoovered it Shock Though there is also an area of floordrobe which I haven't done much to. DS is traumatised Grin Serves him right for not tidying up himself when I asked him to.

We have had a day of persistent rain and wind, followed by torrential rain and thunder this evening. Which was unfortunate for the poor electricity bods who have spent the day up the poles along our road. Also DS is out doing SportingThings tonight so goodness knows how wet he's getting Confused

LetUsPrey · 24/09/2019 22:14

Hope MiniHelen isn’t too soggy. At least he has an area of hoovered floor to stand on, for which he should be grateful and not sulky

I should try to have an early night and not browse Pinterest.

FancyFancy · 24/09/2019 23:35

Evening.

Lots of rain here - some roads flooded on the way in to work, luckily cleared by the time I left.

Hope DD is able to get her tooth sorted apricot

How soggy was DS helen?

You need some incentive to go to bed letus - how about a reminder that the World Athletic Championships on Friday?

Swagger Inn 162 - The summer's a bit of a wash-out at the moment but thoughts turn to holidays -
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/09/2019 07:46

Ah - my typo - it was DH out getting sodden, not DS. And he was very soggy indeed - but not as soggy as the ones who had turned up without waterproofs Shock

LOL at incentive to go to bed. Is the incentive to get up the one where you have to chase him down? (Or, more realistically, lie in wait and trip him up on the way past?)

Have a good day all...

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2019 07:55

Morning wenches.

Note to self: read thread first before picking up bowl of cereal in case of photos of, for example, talented athletes which causes one to almost become covered in cereal.

Eeek at flooding Fancy! Hopefully you followed MrApricot’s example and absolutely didn’t try to go through anything you shouldn’t and get stuck.

Why would you not have waterproofs? I don’t think the rain was much of a surprise yesterday. It’s fortunate you’d have had a towel on hand for MrHelen.

I do actually need an incentive to start my running again. Perhaps I’ll start by watching the athletics from Friday. Best to start gently.

Better get going.

ApricotCrush · 25/09/2019 18:00

Afternoon. I haven't been very productive today, but I have had a tidy up of the computer which has far too much rubbish stored on it.

Hope all the flooding has been sorted Fancy and everyone has had a good day.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 25/09/2019 19:48

Evening wenches.

Could you come to my office Apricot and tidy up some of our computers please? Plenty of people seem to think that computer housekeeping simply doesn’t apply to them.

Had the pleasure of having to see someone today who tried to square up to me and intimidate me. Mate, no. Also helped I was wearing heels today and this person wasn’t as tall as me. Not fun though and I could have done without it.

Also also, I think I’ve got a frozen shoulder. Whatever it is, it’s fucking painful.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/09/2019 20:30

FFS - was that one of your colleagues LetUs or a different twat? Gibbs and Aramis are not impressed either way.

Ouch re. the shoulder Sad and no, I have no idea why you'd go to an outdoor sporting activity last night and not take waterproofs. Hmm

Computer housekeeping is very productive and a Good Thing to do. I should probably look through drool over catalogue the HBF files on mine Grin

We've had rain/sun/rain/sun/rain... all day today.

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2019 20:37

A brand new twatbadger Helen and hopefully one who won’t be coming back. Gibbs and Aramis at the office would be very handy though.

Excellent housekeeping there Helen. Important, as ever, to be thorough.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 25/09/2019 20:58

Do we need to "talk" with him Letus? With a baseball bat? Angry

LetUsPrey · 25/09/2019 21:21

Grin Wicked - that kind of conversation won’t be needed —yet—

If you’re wanting to expend some pent up energy, I bet Kylo’s willing and very able to assist.

I sent DS2 up to bed a short while ago. He argued about washing his hands, then about brushing his teeth. And I suspect he’s sitting quietly in DS1’s room watching the football.

ApricotCrush · 25/09/2019 21:26

Grin WW

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/09/2019 21:45

Well as long as he's sitting quietly LetUs - you can pretend he's not really up still.

I'm whacked. I think this may be due to DS having a run of waking me up in the middle of the night to let me know that he can't sleep. He does a cracking snuggle though. Still. I ended up in his bed last night and left him in ours.

Early night for me I think. Though I'm not allowed to move off the sofa because Stupid Cat needs a cat bed/bath. Stupid, ridiculously cute animal...
