Had a (relatively) early night yesterday - still knackered! Had various annoying dreams, all about things going on in real life so woke up with that confusing feeling of thinking things have happened when they haven't. Shall try some preventative treatment tonight - lots of faf before bed........

Oh I forgot, I have a solution for small children whining. We went for quite a long walk up the road this afternoon and for DGS to feed the swans and ducks. Then he started the usual 'I'm tiiiiired', 'My legs huuuurt', 'I'm going to colaaaaapse'. So DH suggested that he carry one of DGS's arms and DD carry the other, to reduce the weight he had to carry. Worked a treat. Goodness knows what passers-by thought.

No dreams at all last night, despite Kevin the French decathlete appearing in ads on Eurosport for athletics meetings - the ads keep popping up on the coverage of the tour of Spain. So Kevin, thiiiiiiiighs and Nico Roche has been doing well in the cycling, so plenty of coverage of him.

Morning. Had a nice lie-in today, then frenzy of activity since DS hadn't bothered feeding cats, I had to feed the chickens and then do an MOT taxi run, then get to work.

And current job is turning out to be a lot fiddlier then I expected. FFS and all that.

LetUs - Sherlock was on our DVD, not Tv, so you might have had trouble finding it. Needless to say I stayed up and watched, whilst thinking that BC looked awfully young in it (Is it that old?)

Apricot - I don't think that "I'm tiiiired" hack would work for DS. worth a try though. I have started setting up the new phone and haven't a clue. I have no idea where my music has gone, I've lost my contacts (hopefully the back-up works on my laptop) and I may have trashed the old phone getting the sim card out So that went well .

Yes, I noticed TB's collection of trainers. He was on BBC Breakfast this morning. It's on the iPlayer at 08.53 and will no doubt turn up on YouTube shortly. Doesn't look as if he took an extensive wardrobe with him up to Manchester. While I was waiting for him to appear I amazed myself by cleaning the lounge windows which I've been meaning to do for months ages.

I have spent the evening going through the millions of pencil cases we have for some reason which contain billions of pens and pencils and highlighters. This all started with me checking what, if any, stationery DS2 needs for school next week. Because that’s how I roll on a Friday night.

I bought a multi pack of bic biros for DS - I figured that it won't matter if he loses them. I have no idea what else he needs And yes - you absolutely have to re-watch Sherlock - all of them, so you can see how he changes over time. It's an academic research project.

I have had a day over being utterly overwhelmed. I can't keep the house tidy, I can't interest DS in anything that isn't on a screen, I haven't sorted out the chickens and their mite situation, I'm behind with work, I can keep up with the garden... FML. I'm juggling everything and catching nothing.
