I have been at an impromptu laser quest party, was great fun but DS is now very very knackered... I am a bit too.

Thanks to all wenches for the good wishes - miniFancy did well, nothing below a 6, 8's in the two subjects she's taking on to A level and a 9 in English Language I have no idea where she gets her writing skills from - it's sure as hell not me!

I remember having a go at Laserquest absolutely donkeys years ago. I was with an ex at the time and he took it very very seriously and he was obviously an exper —and an utter dickhead—. Pleased MiniHelen enjoyed it. Hopefully he’ll have as long a lie in as possible.

Meal was delicious. Didn’t have that much to drink because work tomorrow but was very nice to catch up with BestFriend.

Never done laser quest. Did clay pigeon shooting once & was surprisingly handy with a gun. Just sayin'........

Laser Quest - I'm never as good as i think I am at the time. tonight's effort involved being very impressed at the running total of 'shots' on my gun - until someone else pointed out that it was the number of times I'd been hit but it is fun :D

I played laser quest once a million years ago, had no idea what I was doing but it was really fun
I always wanted to try paintball also.

Watched the last 40 minutes or so of a film that I’d recorded —and that I’ve seen before— when I got home. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. It’s the one AT’s in where he was chained to a chair. Utter absolute cheese, but as well as AT it also featured Jamie Campbell Bower and Jonathan Rhys Meyers having a fight whilst wearing leather trousers (rather low slung in JRM’s case). There was much pouting too . Awesome.

Quiet evening tonight I think as have a fairly full on weekend and we really must catch up with Poldark.

Not so much sunshine now, but I have hung out the washing the dark complete with bit of tissue stuck over it because someome didn't empty/I missed a pocket. ho hum.

Apricot Laser Quest is when you run about in a dark building, shooting each other with laser guns - you wear a vest with receptors on the front and back, plus the guns have receptors on them too, which keep track of the number of times you're hit. It's like paintball but in the dark and not as painful/doesn't leave bruises (unless you run into something in the dark)

DS has a friend over for a sleepover - it may be a long night at ChateauSisterHelen Still, at least it's only one friend.

Wicked I quite like the idea of paintball, but actually I keep hearing people talk about it actually being quite painful when you get hit, so I think I'll stick with Lasers, unless there are HBFs on hand to tend to bruising.

No Poldark tonight. DH watched the football instead and I had a bath.

And now I am knackered so I’m off to the chateau.

Yay for the bank holiday weekend - I feel like I could sleep for a week. No chance of that tomorrow as FancyCat has her check up at the vets tomorrow morning.

Sleepover appears to have gone well, and did include sleep, so yay! And it's lovely and sunny, but I would quite like to go back to bed and sleep some more... but i have to return small child to their parents. Best get dressed really.

Morning wenches. Didn’t sleep too badly until about 5 when I woke up because of hayfever. I am fucking sick of it. It should be done for me by now but nooooooooo.

I suppose it’s sunny and warm though so hurrah for that. Washing is out, another on the go and beds are stripped. We’re at a barbecue this afternoon/evening.

FancyCat was very well behaved, although she did hide under the blanket - it was very sweet. Poor thing is getting increasingly stressed at the vets so am pleased that she doesn't have to go back.

Haven't actually done any gardening as it's a bit hot out there, plenty of laundry done though.
