Watched a couple of episodes of The West Wing last night whilst ironing. Cue West Wing inspired dreams. Mind you, didn’t work with Poldark the other night.

Helen your colleagues are awful, that is tantamount to bullying. I hope they pay you well. I was bullied at my first job because I went straight into a shorthand typing position without being a junior. They used to hide my coat, put Fairy Liquid in my tea and leave me out when chocolates were handed out, loudly saying how lovely they were. Why do people do that?

Apricot - that's awful! Why are some people such deliberate twats? I'm not overly bothered by idiot colleague - certainly not taking it personally. Once I start taking it personally I'll be out of there because they don't pay me enough to put up with that sort of shite.

Still could be worse it could be sex dreams involving unfanciable and completely inappropriate colleagues/celebrities/general acquaintances. (I'm sure there was a MN thread about that once with many howls of horror about the completely inappropriate choices made by peoples' subconscious.)

I had a lie-in! DH work up first and did the chores without waking me! Now I'm trying to work out what to do with very bored DS that doesn't involve him having his nose pressed to a screen of any sort. There are plenty of course, but persuading him to do them is another matter. And if I do something too interesting then DH will complain and say that he wanted to do that too and why can't we wait for him to be free as well...
