And wenches can use their imaginations to make the temperature rise and anything else they can think of.

Evening.

Motorway driving in heavy rain is horrible Fancy.

I'm not surprised you're tired WW, you were very busy yesterday. I'm always the same.

Hope Helen and LetUs are enjoying their holidays.

DH has eaten out, so only me to cater for. Smile

Today it has mostly rained. Except where we were staying, where it was dry all day. But we went out to places where it rained all day.
FFS and all that.

FancyFancy · 01/08/2019 08:53

helen
Back to work today

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/08/2019 09:06

DS has now added a nice array of spots to his woes. Though I say 'woes' - he is quite happy and giggling away at videos and feeling fine in himself. But still. Chicken pox.
FFAS and all that. This is not the most successful holiday that we've ever had... Just praying that he hasn't shared it with the MiniElks Confused Sad

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 01/08/2019 10:50

Poor guy, mine itched like hell.

Got a call from the autoshop, the AC is going to cost £2000 to fix, that's the value of my whole car so I think not Hmm

ApricotCrush · 01/08/2019 19:08

Evening wenches.

Oh dear, poor DS Helen.

Ouch at cost of AC WW. I think mine's on the blink, there's been a whistling noise in the dashboard for ages now, but I just put up with it. Confused

Ouch ww Shock

What a bugger helen! Have either of them had it before? It's possible to get it twice, but most don't, so fingers crossed. Mind you, much as it always seems to arrive at an awkward time, it's better to have it as a kid - adults seem to get it much worse from what I've heard.

looks like the porn spam bot visited the Tav Grin

ApricotCrush · 02/08/2019 20:09

Evening. Nice day here. Went to town for some general shopping this morning.

I've been performing a delicate operation on a very special bear this afternoon. His head had gone all wobbly and was causing much consternation to DGS. I've taken him home to recuperate now. The bear, not DGS. Hmm

Grin at porn spam bot. MNHQ have had a busy time apparently.

Hope MiniHelen is recovering.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/08/2019 21:45

MiniHelen is still developing spots, but apart from being itchy is fine in himself.

we have a porn spambot? Like we need help with creating porn historical literature Grin Spambot has not done its research.

Hope wobbly bear is feeling less wobbly-headed. that'll be the Wine or the Gin Grin

Need to shovel the spotty one off to bed...

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 02/08/2019 22:29

Been out for thai food, yum. Knackered.

FancyFancy · 03/08/2019 00:10

Both surgeon & nurse apricot Grin

ooh, yum ww, love Thai food

Glad DS is feeling ok helen, hope the itching doesn't get too bad

Hmmm, ScaredyCat is getting very affectionate - she's cute, but not an hbf

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/08/2019 09:16

Morning.

DS is being distracted from itching by the xbox - the controller required both hands Grin

Is hot and sunny here. Though at least it made rooting through the raspberries to pull out the bindweed a bit easier that if it was damp. Think I need to sort out breakfast. Exciting stuff eh?

FancyFancy · 03/08/2019 11:15

Genius solution helen Grin

ApricotCrush · 03/08/2019 17:17

Afternoon.

Awww at ScaredyCat.

I've never tried Thai food. Don't know how I've missed that.

Glad he's coping Helen. Oh, you have raspberries. DS doesn't have his allotment any more, so there won't be any raspberry jam this year. Sad We've still got some left from last year though.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/08/2019 22:46

I haven't tried Thai food either. Or I d't think so. I think it involves too many chilies and spice.

Stupid cat is asleep on the sofa next to me. I've never heard a cat with such a gurgly stomach. Fortunately it's my turn for a lie-in tomorrow, so I needn't worry about coming down to copious cat vom Grin

DS seems much better - I think he may have stopped producing new spots. Fingers crossed...

FancyFancy · 04/08/2019 14:18

ooh, fingers crossed indeed helen
Thai food is lovely - can be quite spicy

Need to get some work done this afternoon Have loads of other chores that need doing as DSis & her family are coming later in teh week - beds need to be made up & some cleaning done.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 04/08/2019 16:43

Flop.

I have been doing HBFs gardening thing.

Pox update - nothing new as far as I know, but he hasn't let put on calamine lotion thing today so I haven't had a good look. He says that he has one in his ear, which is getting in the way of xboxing though.

ApricotCrush · 04/08/2019 17:13

Afternoon. Sooooo bored. DH is still plumbing and telling me all the details at DS's. He's moving a bathroom from one side of the house to the other and it's taking forever. Hmm

Hope MiniHelen doesn't get any more spots.

There's a new series of Knightfall which the box has recorded for us. It's alright, but interestingly it's filmed in the Czech Republic so we're playing spot the location which is better than the plot actually. Google tells me they have built a set at Doksany; I thought I recognised some of the background buildings. Dr Lemay is in it too.

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 04/08/2019 21:50

Oh Apricot - they joys of DIY by association. LOL at the locations being better than the plot Grin

I think you need some thing one to relieve the boredom...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/08/2019 19:20

Today I have been working and my brain is scrambled... how much longer is LetUs away for? Ah - another 4 days of blissful sunshine.

ApricotCrush · 05/08/2019 20:12

Evening. Oh, spoiled for choice there Helen. Grin

We've had DGS today. DH took him to the pitch and putt at the golf club this morning, which he enjoyed.

Nothing else to report.

OP posts:
FancyFancy · 06/08/2019 00:00

Also most amused at apricot's assessment of Knightfall Grin

Work and chores today - so exciting

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/08/2019 07:43

Did nothing but work yesterday and ended up with a banging headache Sad, so early night. Which was actually nice because I handed over all supervision of the small itchy person to DH.

Back to BoringOfficeJob today Mind you - that office has air con, doesn't it? Oooh... BoringOfficeJob is a less dismal prospect now. Still... Would rather be lying about relaxing (and doing other things) with an HBF.

Star for Apricot and MrA for being childcare providers extrordinairre.
