Didn’t do the exercisething today as I was completely knackered. Hoping it’ll be cooler tomorrow and I’ll go out then. Perhaps I’ll get your cooler weather Apricot and you can still get the washing out.

Have been enjoying the tennis this evening.

Have to take DS1 shopping for holiday stuff tomorrow to NearbyBigTown. I’ve told him we’re going “first thing” as I want to be there by 9. The look of sheer horror on his face

Kitchen Wildlife...
Not so much the kitchen, but Inconvenient Cat has brought a mouse in, and it has taken refuge inside the hoover.
The hoover is now sitting in a large cardboard box waiting for the mouse to emerge. Inconvenient Cat is prowling about and chirruping. FFS...
(There's a moose loose about this hoose... except hopefully it's a safely contained mouse, and not loose at all.)

soz helen, hope the mouse issue is solved soon.

Got through a fair amount of work today - have brought some home to do to try to get a head start on next week. Not done any this evening mind - have spent some time watching Tom Ellis working out on Youtube exercise videos......

It would have been helpful for the mouse to do the hoovering Helen, rather than just taking refuge inside it.

Don’t be working too hard Fancy . Although you seem to have the right idea with combining work with exercise. Perhaps I should watch exercise videos to erm inspire and encourage me to do my exercisething.

Put a wash on last night to finish nice and early so it can go out before I go shopping, and I can put another one on. It’s fucking raining. WTF.

Started working at 7, so tired, and after work I went for a short lie down and fell asleep, woke up two hours later

Afternoon. Raining here too, after I did a wash load.

Oh God, the bed linen from the caravan is a nightmare. I like to wash the stuff from one visit, take it next time we go and then leave beds made up for whoever's going next. It NEVER works. DH has come home with one fitted single sheet instead of two and one pillowcase short. He says that's strange because he seemed to be a pillow short when he was tidying up. How the fuck do you lose a pillow?

The same thing happened last year after DS was there. Another pillow vanished. I think I'll give up and let everyone sort their own bedlinen out.

Hope the mouse has reappeared Helen. Also hope that your weather is better than ours for your BBQ.

Oh, didn't answer your question Helen. Yes, very peaceful week but although I set myself various jobs to do, they're still undone. I'm supposed to be sorting out PPI on various accounts don't know where to start and I'm not paying anyone to do it , house insurance and other financial stuff. Aargh!

Passports were exactly where they should be and are all well in date, so thanks for that brain.

Shopping went as expected with DS1. Eventually managed to get him to try some stuff on after he’d turned loads of other stuff down I got a few bits and then I’ve been out with DH —who won’t stop taking— and got some more things.

It was a women’s match and looking at their legs makes me both impressed and jealous.

We’re off to Turkey in a few weeks or so, where it will be a bazillion degrees. And I shall lie in the sun —under a parasol—, eyes closed, headphones on, imagining HBFs in all manner of situations.
