The new series of Line of Duty is a completely new story LetUs, so you can just jump into it. There may be references to stuff left over from previous series but I've forgotten them anyway so it doesn't really matter.

What the fuck does the weather think it’s doing?! Stop being cold. Have just given sister a lift to the station and my car pinged at me on the way back. I thought there was something wrong at first as I wasn’t expecting it to tell me the temperature had dropped below 4°.

DH has been —nagging— saying “are we watching something?” So I’ve put something on for us to watch. As soon as it starts, asks me to pause it so he can get something. Then we start again, DS1 comes in and DH starts “having a discussion” with him so it gets paused again. Aaaaarrrggghhh!!!
