The oven clock principle also applies to my bedside clock I'm going to have to google instructions because mine are buried under a pile of paperwork somewhere.

I am tired beyond tired and I need a bath and then hayloft and a HBF. I know that Meatloaf reckon's that 'two out of three ain't bad', so I'd be willing to drop the bath if that gets me a HBF? I live in delusion hope.

We’ve already done some of the clocks so, seeing as I’m losing an hour with HBFs, I’m off to the hayloft to make the most of the time.

I've also done most of the clocks. My bedside clock has stopped working though - the only thing it will do it turn the alarm on and off, the other buttons are refusing to play ball. I've unplugged it and left if without any power so it can have a good think about what it wants from life. Then I'll see if it will play ball later today. FFS.

Nice and sunny though. Hope everyone has a good day and wicked unpacks a surprise HBF (God, how much would that freak you out in real life though?! You open up a packing box and find someone inside it!)

Line of Duty is on my FFS Why Have I Never Watched That Before list. I’ve checked and all the series are available so I’ve downloaded some to watch.

Have had a lovely afternoon at my mum’s with my sisters, niece, and SIL.

Watching Blue Planet Live. They’re in Baja, Mexico which is on my lottery win list.

Today was Mother's day. I have hoovered, mopped, weeded, dug, retrieved various chickens (Chicktoria is now also doing the escape thing), done shopping, potted on lots of seedlings, helped cook tea, swept floor and re-potted seedlings after H threw dropped a dozen of them on the floor... Do you think I can go to bed now and pretend I'm on an all inclusive sunshiny holiday with an attentive HBF?

Anyway, hurrah for lovely afternoons (even if mine wasn't all that.) That balcony looks like a lovely sunny spot Wicked - I think it needs fairy lights too.

Line of Duty is also one of the many, many things that look good and I haven't watched.

Oh - the alarm clock has considered a (short) future life in the 'electrical goods' recycling skip and decided to be an alarm clock again. It had 12 hours unplugged and it's let me reset the time and alarm etc. now.

Fancy - I looked for a picture of HBFs in boxes, but got nowhere fast. I appear to have a pic of Hidders in a cupboard and Kylo unpacking, but everything else was boxed sets and people in the Royal box at Wimbledon.

You can absolutely pretend that Helen. I wish I could actually make it a reality for you after the day you’ve had.

Hope Helen's recovered from yesterday, sounded exhausting. Pleased the alarm clock has sorted itself out.

If any wench is going to watch the latest series of Line of Duty, here's what you need to know before you start, otherwise you won't have a clue.

Evening. I have absolutely been working hard all day. I have not been hiding in the cupboard with Athos. This? that's not stubble burn, it's, er, nettle rash, from gardening yesterday. No, it's a perfectly normal place to get nettle rash when it's hot and you're not wearing many clothes.

In real life. Um. Nothing interesting to report. I am looking through the local theatre brochure to see if there's anything interesting on. And there is a cat curled up behind me on the sofa, snoring. Oh, and I forgot to hang out my washing until about 5pm so it hasn't got terribly dry. FFS etc.

I have downloaded the most recent episode of Fleabag off iPlayer - it’s on BBC1 later tonight - and watched it on my iPad. OMFG I am completely in love with Andrew Scott. And also Phoebe Waller-Bridge. But mostly Andrew Scott. I’m going to watch it later on the TV and swoon.
