I am relaxing on the sofa, listening to the frantic beeping dulcet tones of the washing machine which translates to "I'VE FINISHED!!! OPEN THE DOOR!!! HANG THE BLOODY WASHING OUT!!!" is politely reminding me that it's finished

Oh well, another day of tedious tremendously rewarding housework beckons, and then we have a SportingCompetition for DS or I'd have been down in London standing in a massive queue.

I may have spoke too soon - still seems to be dicking about a bit.

I also need to mow the lawn. Can't say the thought fills me with enthusiasm, but I will feel pleased with myself when it's done.

Uncanny Fancy - I also need to get a mower out I also share your reluctance but look forward to the feeling of 'job done'. Washing machine is on its third load and sounding a bit noisy - I should probably check that it's not walking itself into the sitting room to join me.

DH is going to Spain next week with his golfing mates and is stressing over insurance, medical certificate for his knees - he'll set the bloody alarms off - and how to keep his luggage down to 10kg. Argh!

Also the loo in the bathroom won't switch off and he can't find what's wrong. Argh again!

We're having DGS to stay tonight, I'd better get the meal over before he arrives.

Never did get the mowing done - ended up digging up more couch grass. Currently at SportingCompetition - watching attentively, obvs.

Hope the toilet got sorted out Apricot and that DGS lets you have a lie-in tomorrow!

I did get the lawn done, but came in feeling a bit meh as while out there I could see how much weeding I need to do

Washing is out. Sun is shining but it’s breezy and rather chilly.

Still lovely here - I went out without a coat on

I wore a t-shirt in the garden - with no fleece, and no coat Though that was about midday - just now I've been out in Tshirt, fleece and coat.

Alas poor mower though the cutting level suddenly dropped to the ground and I picked up a large spring from the grass I think a piece of metal elsewhere has sheared off, and I'm probably in the market for sheep another mower.

Afternoon. Lovely day here too. We went up to the crem and had a walk round there this afternoon, it's my DF's anniversary.

Toilet is fixed hopefully and packing is done. He's going at stupid o'clock in the morning.

I know!! Yes, I may do. I also want to finish the jumper I'm knitting no chance and read a book DH has agreed with the author that I'll proof read for him. It's already out on Amazon, so it's a bit late really. He's a golfing mate and he was very interested in my Prague blog, so I suppose I'd better return the compliment, but it's not my kind of book. It's set in Ireland at the time of the Troubles - he's ex-military - and is about the IRA.

at interest in Apricot's blog equating with proof-reading a IRA-thriller type book. Oh well.

Stupid cat has just vommed. Just catvom though, she has not thrown up the XXXXX (Captain Marvel spoiler), or glitter (Lego Movie 2) And it was on the floorboards, so easier to clean up than the carpet
