I was bright and sunny the first time I woke up, couldy and breezy the second time... We now have wind driving sheets of rain across the garde. I have revised my plans to get dressed do gardening.

I do need to get dressed though - need to go shopping for stupid cat's super-expensive food...

Afternoon. We had a power cut this morning. Eeek! You don't realise how much you use electricity until you haven't got any. Was only for an hour or so thank goodness.

Toothache's still sort of lingering, but I'm keeping up with the salt rinses.

Afternoon. The rain stopped, the cat food was out of order, I have done domestic hoovering and sorting out sports club subs, and then went out to clean out lean suggestively over the chicken house and look for HBFs in the garden. It will surprise no-one to know that I didn't find any. FFS at inconsiderate HBFs. On the other hand I got a wheelbarrow's worth of nettle roots dug up, so that's good. And now the back massager thingy is doing its best to not let my back seize up. It's finding a few knots I may need a more soothing back rub later.

Only into town helen, dull domestic stuff. Am feeling thoroughly meh atm. Think I should plan an evening of indulgence, maybe some faf watching, followed by a soak in the bath before getting into a bed with fresh sheets.

Some homework got done but not much. Sigh, it was a start though. DS2 fell when he was playing outside and banged his face and knees. Much blood (which in this case thankfully looked a lot worse than it was) and crying, poor thing.

DS2 is very chirpy but has decided against swimming so DH got a lie in for a change. One lot of homework has been done - watching a video about electricity and magnets - but there’s more to do later.
