We have reruns of MM on different channels with different seasons.

DS1 was like that with empty boxes. You know how they say children like the box more than what was in it - not him. DS2 on the other hand loved having empty boxes made into stuff and crawling into them.

Baking didn’t go great. Turns out my loaf tin is a 2lb tin and not a 1lb. Ah well.

Have read one of Ann Cleeves’ Vera books today. Have read most of the Shetland ones but this is my first Vera one. Was very good.

It does seem to be Monday. And back to school. Simultaneously hurrah and argh while I try to get DS back into a sensible morning routine. (i.e. get off the fecking xbox and get ready for school)

I have been doing some more gardening - then ate lunch carefully positionned so that I looked out onto the tidy bit of garden and not the messy bit at the bottom of the garden
