I’m watching the tennis. Federer v Tsitsipas. It’s a bloody excellent match. Tsitsipas is rather nice but he’s only 20 so I’m sticking to appreciating his tennis.

Fingers crossed for DS1 sticking with sportingactivity - would be a shame to deprive us of our entertainment give up at this point.

We went on a family argument outing to the beach, which was nice but bloody cold. Athos is going to have to work extra hard to warm me up tonight - and to keep me awake - all that fresh air has knocked me for six and I just want to sleep.

I love looking at property. As we walk round the road we decide what we'd do to various houses if we bought them. Not that they're for sale, but ykwim. We're not ready to downsize yet, but it will come to it eventually.

When we were looking to move when DS1 was little, we’d looked at a few houses and thought each one would do but then we saw the one we’re in now and knew it was the right one straight away.

Ironing done. DS2 has done his homework with a lot less stress than usual. I need to go and pair up a bazillion pairs of socks and put the ironing away.

Evening. Looking at houses is always fun - 'house porn' I knew I wanted my first flat from the moment I walked into it. A friend came with me and kept telling me off for being enthusiastic. Apparently I was meant o be playing it cool . Reader, I bought it

DS has a SchoolSportingActivity tomorrow. I'm convinced that I'm going to forget to send something vital with him. It's been one of those short notice letters, followed up by some global texts from the school office. I don't feel organised enough...

We’re watching something with the Backshall in it with bonus Aldo. The men and women live in separate houses in this particular tribe. DH said he thought that sounded a good idea. I pointed out that it would be him with both DC and I’d get a house to myself, so that sounds a brilliant idea! As long as they’re close by though - don’t want to have to cook for myself

Have had a very pleasant weekend - FancyMan came round yesterday & ended up cooking dinner here and then today we went to a friend of his for lunch. So I have eaten well & not had to cook much - perfect!
