The HBFs have promised to come down the wenches' chimneys on Christmas Eve

Evening wenches. Done a bit more Christmas shopping. Was subjected to Mariah Carey whilst standing in the enormous queue at our local football club shop. I may have said 'FFS' under my breath.

The afternoons start drawing out on Sunday Fancy, although the mornings continue to get darker until the end of the month.

We're going to the golf club Christmas do this evening. I don't know half of the people but will plaster on a smile and make sure I have .

The lighter evenings but darker mornings has actually cheered me up a little bit - I can cope with the mornings but I’m not keen on DS2 walking to the childminder’s on his own when he’s been to an after school club.

Right. DH is working late, DS1 isn’t too good so is skipping sportingactivity, I’m going to get a and carry on with the cards.

Christmas lunch was very good - delicious food, including some of the best soup ever, also got our Christmas bonuses today - won't change my life, but it's more than last year so I'm happy
