Yay for haggling Apricot - changing email addresses is a right pain in the backside. And the heating was on, but the thermostat is generally set to 16 during the day (which I usually bump up to 18 at some point). I suspect it was about 17 this afternoon. Brrr. My feet are cold. I need thermal fluffy slippers or something similar.

We all need something to keep us warm Helen. I suggest special activities with HBFs.

Not that it helps me any - no Aradreams in my sleep Mind you, I did recently manage a sex dream with the right person iykwim? That was such an improvement on the one before (with the ex ) that my subconscious is still in my good books.

Urgh. Today's lie-in involved repeated dreams where you think you're awake but you're not, an in this case that I repeatedly heard someone in the house (DH and DS being out) but every time I went to look my vision was blurry and I couldn't see anything. At which point I'd wake up a bit more, realise it as a dream, go back to sleep and repeat the process. FFS. Using Fancy's dream interpretation technique, I was clearly channeling my disappointment at the lack of HBFs in my house.

Still, then I got up and made pancakes for breakfast (yum) and now I'm slobbed on the sofa feeling rather unsure of where the past couple of hours have gone. (Cooking/eating pancakes, perhaps.)

I really ought to do a HBF something productive though - it's clear and sunny and dry outside. I could dig up weeds if nothing else. Which mean I'd need to get out of my PJs.

Can't believe we're still yapping away on this thread. I can't even remember how many times I visited the UK after getting to know my wenches.

Started working at 7 o'clock this morning and then to the hairdresser and then foodshopping. Just enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and a chocolate muffin. The blob is also starting so that kind of sucks.

Afternoon. Happy Wenchiversary. Can't believe it's been five years. A lot has happened in that time.

I hate those dreams where you think you're awake but aren't Helen. I nodded off sitting up on my chaise this afternoon (yes I know chaises are meant for HBFs) and when I came round I didn't know where I was, what time it was, what day it was even. Very confusing, I had to look at my iPad to see the time.

Weird about the missing shoes LetUs. I had a lovely lacy overblouse for summer holidays and I don't know what happened to it. I wouldn't have got rid of it, I loved it.

I was reading that George Ezra thread no idea who he is and Mumsnet suddenly deleted it as it was a previously banned poster. Spoilsports.

See, I don't see what the harm is with banned posters when they're providing such daft entertainment for us all. Oh well.

I hate it when stuff goes missing. I'm missing a pair of jeans, which is really WTAF?! they're nothing special, but it's irritating. I really need a clothing cull in general. Anyone fancy coming to help empty my wardrobe? (And deal with my wails of "NO!!!! I Love that Dress-which-I-haven't-worn-for-10-years! And that One-that-I-have-never-worn!" I mean seriously, I should get rid, but it was my great-grandmother's... I ought to see if any local museums would be interested I suppose.)

I must cull my wardrobe contents. Fact.
