Yes, horribly dark, especially when you don't have to get up but your DH flings the en suite light on at 6.45 to get ready for golf. Why does it take him an hour and a half to have a shower and eat breakfast???

I've been generally thinking about what I have to do today and not doing it, although I have got rid of a load of washing and ironing.

About to start watching The Silkworm which I've only seen on the computer before. Ordered that one and also Career of Evil and Unforgotten season 3 since it's absolut nothing on the telly.

Work was as grim as expected - spreadsheet hell and trying to work out how someone else had arrived at a particular figure. Wasn't much fun since my brain felt like it was stuffed with cotton wool. Woe, etc.

Quite a productive shopping trip with the DC and a lovely lunch with them. Done some more of my jigsaw. Used soda crystals and boiling water in the sink. It’s cleared it a bit but I’m going to leave it to DH to sort out

DS2 has been very lovely these last few days and unusually for him given lots of hugs today

I much prefer the wench football you describe Helen. DH made it home for the second half so he was able to join in with the DC. Such fun. Is done now though and they’re all happy.

You can also get a Fortnite Monopoly set. FFS. DS showed to to me and agreed that it was silly money, but he thought it was funny. (I have trained him well ) They seem to milk Monopoly for all it's worth these days - any excuse for a 'special' rip off edition.

I have to do washing tomorrow. Thrillz. I also have to try and get the house under control again - start putting away Christmas stuff before freelancing kicks off.
